We have stayed in this hotel for 8 nights, it is highly recommend! Excellent location,just in the city center , spacy and clean rooms, lovely staff! Andrey is very nice and responsive, helped us a lot, thank you!

Different from any other hotel is the wonderful service and personal approach and attention. ( from Andy and personel) One certainly keeps other visitors in mind to keep a little quiet evening and morning time. What is absolutely no effort, but feels good. The rooms are basic, but al you need. Located on ground floor one door behind a guarded small art gallery. Rooms all 6, are on one hallway and the backside of the room with big windows are located on an small private square..so no noices from outside. The mini hotel feels like a warm embrace. The location is just a little behind the main shopping street and close to Hermitage as well as most other 'must sees'. Breakfast also basic, but fresh and nice. Coffee and tea as much as you like for whole day. I certainly would like to stay at pride mini hotel again when visiting the wonderful city St Petersburg again. …

Our experience with Pride was beyond our expectations. The room was spacious, cleaned every day, the hotel is situated in the center, near Kazan Cathedral, very close to most attractions and places of interest. Very easy to reach by public transportation and super central - one minute to Nevsky prospect! And the customized fresh breakfasts every morning, prepared with so much love and warmth - made our days to start with a big smile. But the most incredible is the staff! Andrey and his team were so welcoming, we had a fantastic time staying at Pride, starting with coffee and tasty cake when we arrived and ending with personal caring by Andrey by the minute we took the taxi to the airport! And the personal small talks were so warm and make a feeling like visiting close family and not staying in hotel. Highly recommended, we definitely will be back once next time …

If you need a place to stay in St Petersburg then Mini-Pride Hotel is it. Andy who owns the property was an excellent host and provided invaluable advice on all things to do with St Petersburg as well as being able to collect us on arrival at the airport which provided an ideal introduction to the city. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and tailored to suit our needs. The photos and drawings of cats in the common area provided a homely atmosphere and reflected the name of the hotel. The hotel itself is small, extremely comfortable and very clean without being luxurious. It is in a quiet part of the old city but within walking distance of all of the major tourist sights. If you are looking for that personal attention to enhance your holiday, then consider staying at the Mini-Pride Hotel. …

OK Let's start up front where you are going to wonder what you have gotten into. There is no front. No fancy reception area, no fancy restaurant, etc... As a matter of fact it is a common entryway with the several story apartment building that shares the front door with this 7 room hotel. A security guard sits in the entry way keeping everyone sorted out and being most helpful to guests with more luggage than anyone had a right to be porting around Russia. Passing the 2nd door into the hotel area you will see that the owner (Andry) has gone top drawer on making things as warm and comfortable for his guests as possible. Rooms were larger than I expected and well appointed, not the Ritz, but not the price either. We were greeted at mid-day with welcoming tea and cake and it was clear our comfort was a main concern of the owner and his one member staff. Water pressure - check, internet - check, continental breakfast + - check and support service that even the Ritz would be hard put to provide. We had made arrangements for Andry to pick us up at the River cruise port at 1100 and at 1045 he was there. My wife wanted to go out and do the 2 weeks of laundry from cruise 1 while we were on break and Andry not only found a laundry mart for her but drove her there and took her in to assist in getting her started (By the way it isn't self service $15 3 loads done and folded) and went back and picked her up. Drove us to meet friends for dinner and then on the last day drove us out to the main port to catch our cruise 2 back to the US. Now all of this, incl breakfast and the added support and a double room for 2 nights for the price of $155 TOTAL. We were in an off season period and obviously he can't drive 4 different couples around St Petersburg all day, but it does show how accommodating he is when he has the time. He was also able to assist us in getting the invitation letter for the added two days we needed for our visa support documentation, price included in above. The hotel is located about two blocks from main shopping and 5 blocks from the Hermitage. All rooms on ground floor, but stairs in entry. Wheelchairs would be a problem. …

This mini-hotel (6 rooms) is incredible: clean and comfortable with a special charm, in a great location (near Kazan Cathedral / Nevsky Prospekt), with abundant breakfast buffet options and very affordable. Svetlana is delightful, always smiling and going out of her way to be friendly and helpful. The rave reviews were on the mark as the Mini-Hotel Pride turned out to be a terrific base for our visit to St. Petersburg

Spend 7 night there. The location is excellent. close to good restaurants (zoom is the best place) and to the main attractions by foot. andy (the owner) is super nice person. He help us to get around the city, order a taxi to the airport with the best price (600 rubals. from the airport to the hotel we paid 1000 rb for city taxi). Andy and svetlana make us feel like hosting at close family.. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good. This place is the best for those who don't look for fancy hotel and prefer to spend the money on restaurants/tours/shopping
We stayed for two weeks in July in the Pride. We stayed there because of reading good reviews and all we had read was borne out. Andrei and his staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, beyond the normal range. The hotel is clean, quiet and very secure. It is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of St Petersburg, within easy walking distance of the central sites. While the rooms are simple, they are large and very clean and all facilities, including Wifi, worked well. The breakfast is generous, with good coffee. We would certainly recommend The Pride to anyone like us who wants a quality budget hotel in the heart of St Petersburg.
Room Tip: Ask for one of the middle rooms to be certain of quiet.

My husband and I stayed at Pride hotel in November, 2014. We wanted to choose something with home-like atmosphere, quiet and cosy, at the same time located in the center close to tourist attractions. We came across this lovely hotel that has only positive reviews. Most people would mention the owner, Andy Catman, who is said to provide the warmest welcome possible. And yes, they were right. Andy gave us a super-warm welcome. He told us lots of cool stuff about St. Petersburg in general, his life and cats (he has lots of cat pictures and souvenirs in the hotel) :) He gives a lot of advice on where to eat, where to hang out and what to see. As for the hotel. It's really quiet (despite the fact it's located in the VERY center), comfy and clean. Breakfasts are quite full and diverse. We really liked that Andy considers every guest's request and serves breakfast at any convenient for us time. We had our last breakfast at 6 am before we left for the airport. That's really nice and unique. Thank you, Andy for the unforgettable stay! Hope we can come back again soon :) Julia and Tim Krüger …

There are lots of reasons to stay at the Pride Hotel but, for me, the most important is Andy Katman, the proprietor, and his lovely staff. Andy is a superb host and a wonderful and fascinating individual - kind and solicitous. You will rarely meet his equal. The hotel's location couldn't be better. The rooms are not fancy but they are extremely clean and the bathrooms are surprisingly nice. The food at breakfast was of a very high quality, something Andy takes great pride in, as well he might (great coffee). How Andy can offer such amenities at such a low price (for Russia, at least) is a mystery. This is a class operation in every respect and I can't thank Andy and the two Russian ladies who work with him enough for such a relaxing and rejuvenating stay!
Room Tip: Try to get one of the higher number rooms. Room 1 where I stayed i next to the common area and...
