Opening Scene:
A dimly lit Coruscant apartment. The body of Senator Tynnra Pamlo, a key ally of Mon Mothma’s faction, lies sprawled across the floor. Blood pools beneath her, a vibroknife buried in her chest. ISB Supervisor Dedra Meero arrives, flanked by stormtroopers. Her sharp eyes scan the room—no signs of forced entry, no struggle. A professional kill.

Act 1: The Crime Scene

Dedra examines the scene with cold precision. The senator’s datapad is missing. A single Imperial insignia ring rests on the desk—an old design, phased out years ago. A message? A misdirect? Nearby, a surveillance droid’s footage has been wiped, but not before capturing a shadowy figure in a maintenance worker’s uniform slipping out moments after the murder.

Meanwhile, Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael meet in the underlevels. Luthen’s face is grim. 'Pamlo was our inside voice in the Senate. Now she’s gone—and someone wanted it to look like we did it.' Cassian realizes: This is a frame job. But by whom?

Act 2: The Suspects

The ISB? – Dedra didn’t order this. But her rival, Major Partagaz, has been consolidating power. Was this his move to destabilize dissent?

The Rebel Splinter Cell? – A rogue faction led by Saw Gerrera has been known to eliminate 'compromised' allies. But Saw denies involvement. 'I don’t kill senators. I blow up refineries.'

The Corporate Sector? – Pamlo was investigating Kuat Drive Yards for illegal Imperial contracts. A Kuat assassin? Too clean for their usual methods.

Then, a break: A black-market slicer uncovers a deleted file—a encrypted message sent to Pamlo hours before her death: 'The past always collects its debts.'

Act 3: The Hidden Hand

Cassian tracks the message to an abandoned Clone Wars-era barracks. Inside, he finds a clone trooper’s helmet, repainted black. A holo-recording plays: 'You betrayed us, Senator. Just like the Jedi.' The voice is distorted, but the venom is clear.

Flashback: Pamlo, during the Clone Wars, voted to decommission clones in favor of stormtroopers. Thousands were cast aside. Now, one of them—a clone assassin, trained but discarded—has come for revenge.

Final Scene:
Dedra pieces it together too late. The clone, CT-914 'Rook', is already on a transport off-world. She hesitates—should she pursue, or let the Empire blame the rebels? She smirks. Let the rebels take the fall.

Cassian, however, intercepts Rook in a docking bay. The clone, weary but resolute, doesn’t resist. 'I’m done. Just wanted them to remember.' Cassian lowers his blaster. 'They will.' A stun bolt hits Rook from behind—Bix and Vel have other plans. 'We can use him.'

A shadowy figure watches the events unfold from a Coruscant spire—Syril Karn, now a private investigator, mutters: 'None of you see the real pattern…'
