Amy Schumer’s movie Trainwreck opened up this past weekend and it was an instant success at the box office. The movie features many hilarious scenes that have you laughing off of your seat, including one early on where she has sex with WWE superstar John Cena. In the movie, Cena plays the role of her boyfriend, Stephen.
Now generally all sex scenes in movies aren’t as real as they appear to be, although this particular instance might be a little different.
In a recent interview over in Australia , Schumer had this to say about the scene that she shot with the 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
“He was actually inside me,” Schumer reveals. “Apparently, wrestlers — they’re not faking.”
Even co-star Bill Hader, who was alongside Schumer during the interview, backed up the claim.
“He didn’t understand the whole acting thing,” adds Hader. “It was his first sex scene.”
Well, now, that’s certainly interesting to learn about the filming of one of the most successful movies of the summer. Of course, given the sarcastic, comedic personalities of Schumer and Hader, there’s a chance they might have been exaggerating just a bit. But then again, they’re right in saying that this was the first sex scene that Cena had done in his short movie career.
Oh man, Nikki Bella is not gonna be happy when she finds out about this! Hell, she wasn’t happy with him doing it in the first place.

Amy Schumer makes the many trysts in her new comedy Trainwreck look easy and breezy, but her first time, like all first times, was anything but. “My first sex scene was with [Eugene Mirman]. He was supposed to be losing his virginity to me, and we were supposed to be wasted,” Schumer explained to the overflowing crowd at the Apple Soho store on Monday evening. Schumer had a recurring role as Trish, the girlfriend of Yvgeny (played by Eugene Mirman), an inept Russian hit man with a penchant for vodka-centric stand-up, on Adult Swim’s mockumentary-style TV series Delocated. Schumer continued:
At the same time he’s having his first orgasm, he finds out that his dad dies. So he was scream-crying and drooling and coming, and I’m under him. It was the kind of thing where at first I was trying to make him comfortable because he was shy, so I was like, Oh my God, don’t worry . And then I was like, Oh, he’s comfortable . I was walking down the stairs at the end of a shoot day and I was like, Oh, my acting teacher told us that some days you’ll just be playing the girl who gets fucked .
However, while attending the premiere party for the episode a few weeks later, Schumer found out that her role had been completely cut. Mirman’s sweaty body, though, was still on full display. “You could tell that somebody was getting rammed, but you couldn’t tell that it was me,” she said with a laugh. “They were like, Oh, yeah, Adult Swim. We weren’t allowed to show that. And I’m like, Did you maybe think about not shooting that? A body pillow would’ve been cool . But the sex scenes in the movie were easier than that — most of them.” We’re sure Bill Hader will be thrilled to hear that.

During an interview on The Project to promote Trainwreck , Amy Schumer was asked about her not-so-steamy sex scene with John Cena. Having watched the movie myself, I can tell you it's probably the funniest bit in the entire film and Cena is utterly hilarious all throughout. He was so funny, in fact, that the hosts of The Project ask Amy how she kept a straight face during it.
Her response (skip to 5:52 for the answer in the video):
"Because he was actually inside me. ... Who am I to stop him?"
"He didn't understand the whole acting thing. It was his first sex scene."
You'll remember, Total Divas actually ran a story on this very scene where Nikki Bella expressed her unhappiness that Cena would do such a scene without including her in the decision . Hope Schumer didn't just get him in trouble!
But she's definitely kidding, though.

In an interview with Australia’s The Project, Amy Schumer, the star of Trainwreck, told the hosts that her sex scene with John Cena in the movie was real.
“How many takes did that take,” asked the host, who also wondered how they kept a straight face during the filming of the sex scene. “He was actually inside me,” Schumer said. “Who am I to stop him? Who am I?” she added as the hosts erupted in laughter. Bill Hader, one of the other stars of Trainwreck who accompanied Schumer to the interview said that Cena “didn’t understand the whole acting thing.”
Trainwreck opened this past weekend to a better-than-expected $30,097,040 gross, debuting in the third place in the box office chart behind Ant-Man and Minions.
