Amber Heard says her hacked naked photos from 2014 after still circulating around the internet and has slammed the use of the term 'revenge porn', because it implies the victims are somehow at fault.
Heard also said that people who share explicit images online without consent should be punished during her appearance on ' The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet ' podcast.
Heard said: '[The term] implies that there was an action, for which the victim was responsible. For you to seek revenge, it implies that somebody did something wrong.'
She is pushing for federal law to prosecute people who spread explicit images of others without their consent, fueled by having her own nude photos leaked in 2014.
Several hackers pleaded guilty to stealing Heard's and other celebs images, but none were charged or punished for distributing the pictures online.
At news conference on Capital Hill on May 22, Heard said: 'My stolen and manipulated photos are still online to this day, posted again and again with sexually explicit and humiliating and degrading headlines about my body, about myself. I continue to be harassed, stalked and humiliated by the theft of those images.'

Highlighting the strong culture of victim-blaming when it comes to sexual violence, Heard took aim at the way society talks about what happened to her, in general.
'[The term] "Revenge porn" is problematic for a number of reasons, even though it’s catchy,' Heard told de Cadenet.
'Revenge porn' describes revealing photos being shared publicly without the consent of the person depicted in the images.
They are normally shared online by scorned ex-partners following a breakup or during a fight, and in some states including California it is a crime.
Heard noted that using the phrase 'revenge porn' implies the person victimized is at fault.
Taking a more legalistic view of why the phrase doesn't sit right with her, Heard (pictured) explained it assumes spreading sensitive images of another human is always personally motivated, when it doesn't necessarily have to be. Heard pointed out that the hackers who stole her naked photos didn't know her personally, and they didn't know the other Hollywood celebrities who also had revealing photos stolen by people who compromised their iCloud accounts in 2014. She said the term assumes spreading explicit images of another human is always personally motivated, when it doesn't necessarily have to be.
'It implies intent to harm, which is limiting for many, many reasons if we narrow the definition of what we call non-consensual pornography, if we limit it to qualifiers like the intent to cause harm,' she said. 'When someone like me gets their photos hacked, and it goes online, that person doesn’t necessarily intend to cause me harm.'
Heard pointed out that the hackers who stole her naked photos didn't know her personally, and they didn't know the other Hollywood celebrities who also had revealing photos stolen from their iCloud accounts in 2014.
Her fellow victims of what has been called 'Celebgate' included Rihanna, Vanessa Hudgens, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kim Kardashian.
While several hackers pleaded guilty to stealing the photos, no one was ever charged, or consequently punished, for distributing the pictures to the masses.
'I don't feel like the worst things that have happened to me are the most interesting parts of me or my story,' Heard told de Cadenet. 'I think what I choose to do with it is.'
Heard is now currently working across party lines with Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) and representatives Jackie Speier (D-CA) and John Katko (R-NY) to get the SHIELD Act passed, which would make spreading explicit images of others without their consent a federal crime.
SHIELD stands for 'Stopping Harmful Image Exploitation and Limiting Distribution' and is targeted at punishing the people who spread things like nude photos published without the subject's consent.
Heard hopes that by codifying a commitment to ending non-consensual pornography and cyber exploitation, the conversation around it can start to include how it's equally wrong to view and share those things after they've been stolen and put out into the public view.
'That's the beautiful thing about legislation,' Heard told de Cadenet. 'It is one thing to change attitudes, and when we talk about changing cultural attitudes, we talk about imparting change, we have to appreciate how much of that is informed by legislation which codifies it.'
