In the quiet, picturesque town of Snowflake, Colorado, life was simple—until a spaceship crash-landed in the nearby woods. The only witness was a reclusive doctor named Harry Vanderspeigle, who, upon investigating the wreckage, found a lone alien survivor.

But this was no ordinary extraterrestrial. The alien had the ability to take on human form by consuming a person’s DNA. In a moment of panic, it absorbed Harry, assuming his appearance and memories. Now, stranded on Earth, the alien had one mission: blend in until rescue arrives.

There was just one problem—Harry (the alien) knew nothing about human behavior.

The New 'Doc' in Town

As the town’s new physician, Harry struggled with basic social interactions. He prescribed odd remedies ('Apply a thin layer of mayonnaise to the affected area'), stared at squirrels like they were government spies, and once tried to pay for groceries with a handful of shiny rocks.

Sheriff Mike Thompson, already suspicious of outsiders, watched Harry closely. Meanwhile, the town’s astute bartender, Asta Twelvetrees, sensed something was… off. But instead of fear, she felt curiosity.

The Mystery Deepens

When a local farmer reported strange lights in the sky, Harry panicked—was it his people coming to retrieve him, or something worse? Then, a government agent, known only as 'The Big White,' arrived in Snowflake, asking questions about 'unidentified biological phenomena.'

Harry realized: He wasn’t the only alien in town.

The Truth Unfolds

Teaming up with Asta and an eccentric UFO enthusiast named D’Arcy, Harry discovered another alien—a ruthless hunter sent to eliminate him before humans discovered their existence.

In a climactic showdown at the town’s Harvest Festival, Harry used his limited alien tech (a malfunctioning hologram projector and a spoon he insisted was a 'neural disruptor') to outsmart the hunter. The Big White agent, witnessing the chaos, decided Snowflake was just 'full of weirdos' and left.

A New Home

With the threat gone, Harry faced a choice: wait for rescue or embrace life on Earth. After a heartfelt talk with Asta, he realized Snowflake had become his home.

As he sat at the bar, sipping a 'Bud Light' (which he declared 'suspiciously non-toxic'), Sheriff Mike clapped him on the shoulder. 'You’re a strange guy, Doc… but you’re our strange guy.'

Harry smiled. For an alien pretending to be human, that was enough.
