Welcome to Weaver's Rest CottageLocated in beautiful Berea, Kentucky Weavers Rest Cottage is in the heart of Kentucky's Arts and Crafts Capital, home of Berea College.Snuggled in the Appalachian Mountains Berea is 45 minutes south of Lexington, Ky, home of the 2010 World Equestrian Games. Weavers Rest Cottage is one of the original buildings of Churchill Weavers, one of the cornerstones of Appalachian crafts admired worldwide. After shutting it's doors in 2006, this quaint building was made into a charming dwelling for visitors to rest while enjoying the beauty that is Berea. Only a few minutes walk from downtown, Weavers Rest offers a fully furnished kitchen, claw tub bath room, queen sized bedroom, and living room. Also included is free wireless internet(bring your laptop), linens, and cable television. The Cottage does on occassion allow dogs, with a maximum of 2. This will require an extra $10/night per pet, and does require prior approval. And as much as we love them, we do not allow cats to stay with us.

Safe, quiet street with easy access to Berea Golf Course. Located about 5 feet from Churchill's, many weddings and other events find the cottage location to be perfect for preparation...think bridesmaids!There are trolleys that operate during summer months for free in the arts and crafts district. There are several bicycle and walking paths located in and around Berea. Unfortunately, there is no place to rent bicycles in Berea at this time. The Cottage provides private, off street parking and all areas of town are accessible by automobile.
Berea is a "moist" town, meaning no alcohol is sold at any place other than Boone Tavern Restaurant at this time, and the drink purchase must be combined with a meal. Pets must be preapproved, and do require an extra $10/night per pet fee, with a maximum of 2 pets allowed. This fee is not able to be included in the airbnb pricing, and must be paid separately upon arrival. This fee covers the extra cleaning processes that we must use to prepare for our next guests.Please call (859) 986-9402 for rates & availability. -All shelters include access to charcoal grills, trash receptacles, electricity and restroom facilities. All shelters are handicapped accessible. -Rental fees include exclusive use of the shelter only. FAMILY, CIVIC, SOCIAL, PROFESSIONAL AND OTHER GROUPS MAY RESERVE SHELTERS FOR OUTINGS AS FOLLOWS: 1. Groups are required to complete a reservation request form at the Berea Parks Department Administrative Office. 2. No more than one group may reserve the same shelter at any park on the same day. 3. Reservations may be made up to but no more than one year in advance. 4. The Director of Parks and Recreation shall be responsible for making decisions regarding the acceptance of reservation requests and the assigning of park areas in keeping with the following factors: other planned use of facilities, size of groups, condition of park grounds and availability of parking space. 5. The use and location of tents and other special apparatuses shall be approved by the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department. 6. Groups using the park facilities shall be responsible for any damage to turf areas or park facilities. 7. All persons utilizing the City Park Shelter may pull up to the shelter for a MAXIMUM of 30 minutes to unload supplies.
Patrons will not be allowed to park cars in the shelter area, but will need to park in the Berea Community School parking lot. Violators will be towed. 8. Parking in the grass is not permitted. 9. Persons violating the above mentioned rules will lose their holding privilege and any ability to reserve facilities in the future. 10. The Parks Maintenance Staff cleans shelters and bathrooms on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. This allows just enough time to clean all park shelters. In the interest of the park patrons, shelter reservations will not begin until 10:00 a.m. 11. Fees are non-refundable and NO RAINCHECKS will be given.
