Caz said: "When I walked in to the disability shop I noticed a beautiful young girl, sitting in her wheelchair chatting to the shop owner."She was explaining how tired she gets on a daily basis and how much she relies on her mum to help her get through the day and how her illness effects her. "I didn't get to see the girl again when I asked the shop owner about her and if she had bought the wheelchair I was told that she didn't because she couldn't afford it."When I got home I decided that I was going to find her and surprise her at her house with her new wheelchair bought from the Snooky Trust charity."Caz set up the charity in 2007 in the memory of her brother Chris Snook, who died at the age of 27.The charity aims to provide help to adults between 18-years-old and 40-years-old, who are suffering from physical illnesses.Caz wanted to use the charity to help the girl in the shop, even though they had never actually met."Finding out where she lived became a long, long exercise. But I wasn't deterred as I felt strongly about surprising her.

Eventually I managed to find out," added Caz."I went to her house without her knowing, and nervously knocked on her door."Thankfully she answered so I introduced myself and said that I had a gift for her. To see her happy tears and smiles of pure amazement was just wonderful."The mother of the recipient, who wishes to remain anonymous said: "I can't quite believe what Caz just did for my daughter and I. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart."Last September I delivered my daughter to University as a lively lass capable of walking and of living independently."In October they finally diagnosed her with CFS officially."By Christmas the job she adored had been surrendered, and by the New Year her flat mates were ostracising her because she couldn't party with them. By spring there were many days when she couldn't leave her room, and by May she could no longer use her motorbike to get to lectures, go shopping, or do her laundry."She forced herself on foot to get to her exams, and paid a heavy price because June saw her buying crutches, and two weeks later a secondhand wheelchair from an Ebay seller."

The recipients mum said that they had been looking to buy a new lightweight wheelchair, but couldn't afford one.She added: "For a month now we have struggled to adapt our lives to that heavy old chair with my daughter being housebound unless I am there to push, and me struggling to push her on the wonky narrow pavements and steep hills."The gift Caz has given has immediately transformed our lives because my daughter was able for the first time in weeks to leave the house and wheel herself through the park on our dog walk."Caz has given my daughter back her freedom and her confidence to socialise, and the hope that she can go back to University in September. I can't thank her enough."The latest news from South Devon today:Nissan Cars With Motability We currently have 60 Nissan cars available on Motability.Discover how simple it really is to get behind the wheel of a brand new vehicle when you sign up to the Motability scheme through Pentagon. How does it Work? With your help we will determine which vehicle from our comprehensive range will best suit your needs. You need to think about the following questions: Will the wheelchair passenger want to sit up front next to the driver or centrally in the vehicle? How many people will need to travel in the vehicle? Do I require a Manual or Automatic Gearbox? When will I need the vehicle for? We will then check if a vehicle is available for that period and if necessary reserve it for you. The vehicle can be collected either from our factory near Sherborne, Dorset or from our Sales Agent near Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway. In picking up the vehicle from our factory, if you decide to travel by train, the closest railway stations are Yeovil Junction on the London Waterloo-Exeter line or Yeovil Pen Mill on the Bristol-Weymouth line. When collecting the vehicle you will get full instruction on how to safely load, secure and unload the wheelchair.

Arrangements can be made to deliver the vehicle to you for an additional cost if you are unable to collect. What period can I hire the vehicle for? Our vehicles can be hired from 1 week up to whatever period you require.  There is an average mileage limit of 100 miles per day. What arrangements do I need to make to insure the vehicle? The hirer is responsible for insuring the vehicle.  The vehicle must have fully comprehensive insurance for the duration of the hire period. You can arrange this yourself or we can arrange this for you for an additional charge.  Our insurance can cover drivers from age 25 to 75; our insurers will consider drivers over 75 with a clean driving licence. A £500 deposit is payable at the time of hire.  This covers minor accident damage, windscreen or glass damage, insurance excess where applicable, extra valeting if the vehicle is returned to us.  The deposit is refunded to you once the vehicle has been checked and signed back in.
