Office Max Customer Care Went office max in Woodridge, il., to have newspaper pages laminated. After asking employees about their experience in laminating similar papers, we told they have been " doing a lot of them lately.". Then proceeded to instruct me to sign a waiver for potential heat damage possibilities and pay for the intended work. Laminated 4 pages and gave them to me. I observed that one page has crinkled the headline and ruined. No apology or indication... Took some media in to my local store in sandy Utah and asked if they would be able to laminate it and they assured me they could. Long story short they screwed it up and had all kind of excuses as to why they couldn't make it work. Then they had the gall to tell me that this is somewhat "my fault" because the material I was printing had an uneven surface. If In fact that is the case then I should have been informed up front and been given the... They ripped me off for $635 and refused to return it.
