The first WHS Dance Marathon was a HUGE success this weekend. Our students worked to raise $36,130.17, for the Kids at Riley, which is a STATE RECORD for the most ever in a first year marathon. Thank you to all our students, staff and the Westfield community, for all of your support and encouragement this year.

Last Saturday, both Winter Guards traveled to Northview High School. The JV Guard came out with a strong performance, earning a score 4 points higher than the previous weekend. The Varsity came out with strong performance earning them a 3rd place finish. The season has been strong for both groups and as we get closer to the end, they continue to push hard. This weekend only the JV guard performs, as they head out to their Prelims performance to be held at Decatur Central High School. The JV must come out as one of the top 12 performers of the day in order to move on to the Semi-State competition next week.
We hope everyone will come out and give our JV guard a big cheering section to get them fired up as they take the floor for the most important competition of the season. ISSMA Jazz Band Contest On March 3rd, the Pendleton Heights Jazz Band, Jazz Express, and Combo Band will all be traveling to the ISSMA Jazz Band Contest at Whiteland High School. All three groups will be competing against other groups from around the state. We hope to see you there to support our students in this endeavor. Click below for an itenerary for the evening. Indoor Percussion Are Off To Zionsville After their fantastic first performance here at our home thrown Indoor Percussion Contest, our Pendleton Indoor Percussion will be traveling to Zionsville to compete once again. They perform at 7:22pm. We hope to see a big crowd there to cheer on our Percussionists to another great performance! Pendleton Band Announces Hawaii Trip for 2018! The Pendleton Heights Marching Arabians like to take a trip with the students usually occuring every other year.
Last time we took the kids to Philidelphia and New York and had a great time. This time, we thought a trip to Hawaii may be a fun time. This trip will be open to all students who participate in the 2017 Marching Band Season, and will occur during spring break next year. All information including what we will do on the trip, the cost, how to sign up, and where to pay can be found in the file linked below. This trip is jam packed full of amazing things we will be doing, INCLUDING a performance of the band while in Hawaii. Parents and siblings are also invited to join us on this trip as well.
