In 1850 Elliott Wallace, purchased the Mill property and built a two story addition on the front of the house doubling it to a size more appropriate for a successful merchant! Overlooking the creek, this was the master bed room for his bride. It's en-suite bath features marble floors, a claw foot tub chrome English fixtures and a seven foot tall gilded mirror. Four poster queen bed, comfy sofa, chair and cherry TV armoire. Adjoining the Wallace Suite through a private hall and locking door, The Owl's Nest Suite is an acknowledgement of the large community of owls nesting along the creek. It offers a bird's eye view of the property's meadows and woodlands. A soft forest green, it's full of Rustic elegance from the pegged beams in the wall to the white washed barn wood in the private bath. The Eastlake double bed is wrapped in luxury linens and is opposite the wall mounted 38" TV. There is also a quaint private stairwell accessed from the kitchen. The Loft is a darling additional room located at the top of the private stairway.




Part of the Owl's Nest Suite, it's perfect for two additional guests, or to be used as a study for extended stay. Additional adults using the Loft, are $50 per adult, per night. Loaded with cozy country French charm, Sarah's Room has lofty double bed with a creek view, direct TV, and an inlaid cherry secretary desk if you need to catch up on a little work. A darling bathroom is available downstairs, with fluffy robes provided! Please Note: The bath pictured above is downstairs. The Captain's Quarters is the only room with a view of our historic barn. Sweet dreams are promised in the double cannon ball bed, updated with a memory foam mattress. Vintage marine etchings set the theme, with an oak dresser, and arm chair for TV viewing or writing notes at the captain's secretary desk.
