Hi, My family and I are traveling from Australia to LA in August and are planning a trip to Legoland. Can anyone recommend anywhere I can get discount or buy one get one free tickets for legoland? Are there any online sites I could perhaps access from Australia? 2 places mentioned in this post Ranked of 60 things to do in Carlsbad If you are doing more events in San Diego area, consider a San Diego Go Card as it includes Legoland and a lot more One destination mentioned in this post Welcome to the Forums Mindy06kinga, The Mousesavers website is s good resource for you in that they list current available discount on attractions such as Legoland ect (they do not sell tickets) Here is thier Legoland Page, if you scroll down the page thier is a good Dennys discount with a purchase an adult ticket get a childs ticket free discount. Why is Legoland so ridiculously priced? We visited it in February this year only because we had the San Diego Go Card...

$72.00 for a family for a park that has rides that cater to 8 years and younger means forking over $300.00 to go to this park...Then if you want anything to eat at the park, you fork over another $80.00 ($20.00 for food and drink per person). They then charge you an additional fee to see the aquarium - I got a deal so do not remember but say its 10.00 extra per person. So you end up paying $420.00 for a day at Legoland even with the Mouse Deal...what a waste of good money. The park is not worth that cost - when you can have a much better and fun day at the nearby beaches. The kids like it - but for $420.00 - would they miss never having gone... No - they would not miss it if they do not know it exists. Its a mediocre park...for the high price they charge. Edited: 12:40 am, April 21, 2012 Its $72.00 per person times a family of 4 equals $300.00 I think I confused this when I wrote the original. Be sure you want to fork over that much money ...

Parking cost is $15 dollars - there is a premium if you want to park closer.... Just realize its an expensive day for the family.... And we would not have gone if we had not gotten in on our Go Card. We used it for so many great parks, museums, and more in San Diego.... We saved many hundreds of dollars and had a great time by using the card and went to so many great attractions including Seaworld, the Zoo, Knotts Berry Farm, bay cruise, Balboa Museums, and yes indeed Legoland - I was shocked and those paying full price at the gate were shocked on how much they had to pay. But since their kids were already there they forked it over. Legoland is only a good deal if you live in the San Diego Area and get a season pass and can visit frequently. Edited: 12:44 am, April 21, 2012 Actually if the have children, the Dennys discount i mentioned would get them in for half that cost as only the Adults would have to pay for tickets. Where can I get dennys discount?

I'd like to visit legoland with my son and doughters but it's not worth as a park, especially after reading mini, maybe I can visit other things! Legoland is a good park to visit, if you have under 9 or so age children as its more of a park for smaller children, or they are big lego fans. The Dennys discount is at the Mousesavers website link in my above #2 post for Legoland Discounts. if you can get in or have a friend who can Costco has good deals. Check with mousesavers as they usually have listed ALL the current discounts. Note legoland is really for kids under 13 - my son at 11 is pushing the age limit but does look forward to the water park for summer. Thank you every one for your posts. My twins will be almost 4 years when we travel so I am hoping they will enjoy it. I agree we were there 2 weeks ago with my wife and 13 yr daughter.Very average park for the price .You would be better spending that money going to the animal park or the zoo which are better value for money
