The ‘Lego Movie’ creators are working on an animated Miles Morales ‘Spider-Man’ movie See all Editor's Picks Miles Morales is finally coming to the big screen, albeit in animated form. The Lego Movie writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller are writing a standalone Miles Morales feature for Sony Pictures, working with directors Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey. Fans have been hoping to see a Miles Morales movie for a while now, but with Tom Holland joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Peter Parker, a live-action adaptation seemed unlikely. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Homecoming is a teen drama like the Miles Morales comics, and seems to have rewritten Peter Parker’s role to include a version of Miles’ best friend. Miles Morales previously appeared in several animated Spider-Man series including Ultimate Spider-Man, voiced by Donald Glover and Ogie Banks. Sony’s upcoming film will be a more extensive adaptation, a feature-length movie with a cinema release slated for December 2018.

Created by our friend Michael McCooey—hire this dude, Lego—it's fully posable down to the most extreme and typical Peter Parker positions, including hanging upside down. Here are all the features:-He has a ball joint at the base of the neck as well as pivot joint at the base of the skull, allowing him to look all the way down and over his shoulders when contorted.• A mid-torso joint that allows him to bend his spine forward and back, it also rotates from left to right, like the waist joint.• His elbows and knees are double jointed, which allows free range of movement and the ability to fully crouch his legs.• The hips can now allow the legs up and over the wasteline allowing for those very spider-like poses.• His ankles have a second pivot joint for extra steep ankle poses, as well of full range of motion in the main joint.• His feet have an articulated toe piece to make those perching poses more natural.•

In March, the developer launched a Captain America: Civil War character pack featuring Agent 13, Black Panther, Captain America, Crossbones, Falcon, Mark 46 Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, War Machine, and Winter Soldier—so, it's about time Spidey joined his buds. IGN gave LEGO Marvel's Avengers a 6.7 out of 10 in our review. We thought the game was fun, but ultimately "restricted by stubbornly sticking to the Marvel Cinematic Universe."
Civil War Spidey is currently playable in developer Netmarble's Marvel Future Fight mobile game and publisher Gazillion's PC online game Marvel Heroes. We discussed and discussed and finally decided on Lego Spider-Man. I'm by no means an expert costume maker. This is also my first Instructable, so bear with me. I'm pretty happy with the end result, which came together with a little Internet research, and a LOT of trial and error. Hopefully this can help the next person who decides to help their kid be a Lego minifigure for Halloween. This could be customized to be pretty much any Minifigure, really.I'm organizing this in the order we built the costume: torso - head - legs - finishing/fitting.
