Google has redesigned Gmail app for iOS and added some new features to it. The company also updated the calendar for iOS. The new features in Gmail are as follows: • the option to cancel a message. • faster search due to its instant results and spelling hints option. • the ability to put a message in the archive or delete it by swiping it left or right. New Calendar features: • Support for the built-in Spotlight search. Now users can search with the help of events, reminders and goals in the Calendar. • Support for alternative calendars such as lunar, Islamic and Vedic. Along with these calendars you can also see the current calendar. • View your weekly and monthly schedule in landscape orientation. It should be recalled that Google Gmail updated its design for iOS last time for almost four years ago back in December 2012. Having launched the update for Google Penguin 4.0 a lot of questions raised among experts to give up using this filter. In particular, whether it will be possible to solve this problem by using Disavow file.

Yesterday the Search rep, Gary Illyes confirmed that Disavow Links is still a useful tool to leave the Penguin. "We did not change our recommendations regarding the disavow links tool," - said Illyes. In 2013, the former head of Google's search quality service against web spamming, Matt Cutts, announced that in order to quit Penguin the Disavow files can be used: We should remind you that on September, 23, Google announced the launch of updated version of Penguin 4.0. As a result, the filter update will be part of the core Google algorithm and will go into continuous automatic update mode. Recently, Google rep, Jon Mueller, posted a call for webmasters to stop fussing about redirects on his page on Twitter. According to him, the redirect adjustment is a technical issue and not a matter of SEO. The most important thing is to choose the right version of the redirect, and there is nothing “supernatural” about that. Mueller’s message was posted following the recent Twitter-storm con regarding the topic of redirects and how they are processed by Google.

During the discussion, Google's search quality analyst, Gary Illyes, said all redirects pass PageRank: As it was seen from the comments, the foreign experts agreed to the fact that redirects are a matter of technical SEO. We should remind you that in July this year Gary Illyes have already said that all the redirect codes 3xx pass PageRank. A January 2015 survey by Demand Metric and the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) found higher ratings for email’s ROI than for any other channel or format studied.  16% of U.S. adults do not have a smartphone, desktop or laptop, or tablet.  In a September 2015 study by the Content Marketing Institute (CMI) and MarketingProfs, 76% of B2B marketers in North America said they expect to create more content in 2016 than they did in 2015. At tonight's #GoldenGlobes we honor Hollywood legend Meryl Streep with the prestigious Cecil B. Demille Award. — Golden Globe Awards (@goldenglobes) January 9, 2017 Last night, Hollywood elite Meryl Streep won the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes and used her acceptance speech to tear apart the performance of reality TV elitist Donald Trump in the role of “Presidential Hopeful Who Mocks a Disabled Reporter.”

“There was nothing good about it, but it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh, and show their teeth,” she said. Trump fired back this morning. Meryl Streep, one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood, doesn't know me but attacked last night at the Golden Globes. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 9, 2017 The Internet, asleep like a cat before a roaring fire, cocked back its ears. Wait, did it hear correctly? Was he going after Streep? What was he about to call her? Nine minutes later, Trump completed his thought: Hillary flunky who lost big. For the 100th time, I never "mocked" a disabled reporter (would never do that) but simply showed him……. This was a step too far. Call Washington insider Hillary Clinton a nasty woman? Attack a union organizer in Indiana? Go after car companies and foreign currencies and religious groups? But call the literal queen of the silver screen overrated? And tell her she misinterpreted his performance?

If anyone knows from acting, it’s perennial Oscar front-runner Meryl Streep. The Internet had had enough. The cat jumped into action. First, the pro-Streepers/anti-Trumpers launched the hashtag #thingstrumpthinksareoverrated. Like most joke hashtags, it set people up to make the same joke over and over again, which they happily did: Decency, humanity, empathy, truth, national security, the intelligence of Americans. 140 char. isn't enough #ThingsTrumpThinksAreOverrated — Steve Redmond (@sjredmond) January 9, 2017Permission before grabbing genitals. — tara strong (@tarastrong) January 9, 2017 — Matt Knight (@LegendaryCatch) January 9, 2017 — Paul Lander (@paul_lander) January 9, 2017 Every time @realDonaldTrump claims #MerylStreep or Hollywood is elite and out of touch, retweet this image! — Marcel Kolder🖌 (@Kanteldenker) January 9, 2017 Predictably, pro-Trumpers/anti-Streepers swooped in to co-opt said hashtag, using it fight in Trump’s defense:

The media's predictions. p — Agent Elizabeth (@MissLizzyNJ) January 9, 2017 Things were getting funny! Aut in this feud, the Internet could do better than a hashtag. Streep has won three Academy Awards—with 19 nominations—1and eight Golden Globes (hence the lifetime achievement nod) and acted in 79 films. You know what that means? There are also plenty of reaction GIFs! — Russ Bengtson (@russbengtson) January 9, 2017 — Amber Tamblyn (@ambertamblyn) January 9, 2017 In the Venn diagram of Trump supporters and Streep supporters, many people seem to fall right smack dab in the middle. Some of them took to the president-elect’s favorite communication medium, Twitter, to tell Trump so. We love you, and we love Meryl Streep, but please, they beseeched, don’t make us choose! @realDonaldTrump she is a fantastic actress admit you are wrong. And to think I voted for you. I feel so bad for doing so. — nanajib (@nanajib) January 9, 2017 @realDonaldTrump Love Meryl Streep. G
