Abilità dei personaggio molto equilibrate Ottima realizzazione dei mondi Sistema dei costruttori poco sviluppato Emmett, eroe per caso The LEGO Movie ti mette nei panni di Emmett, un giovane operaio edile di Brickburg, una città LEGO in stile New York. La sua vita cambia radicalmente con l’arrivo della bella Wyldstyle, una ragazza che sembra venire da un universo lontano e che costringe il ragazzo ad unirsi alla sua avventura per recuperare un oggetto che restituirà la pace nel mondo. Da qui inizia il viaggio di Emmett e Wyldstyle, durante il quale visiteranno mondi nuovi, come il far west, e incontreranno personaggi famosi e stravaganti come il saggio Vitruvio, il gatto-unicorno Unikitty e Batman. Come negli altri giochi LEGO, anche in The LEGO Movie dovrai superare i livelli risolvendo degli enigmi e combattendo i nemici. In questo capitolo i rompicapo sono più complessi rispetto agli altri titoli e richiedono, generalmente, di trovare oggetti e combinarli, distruggere elementi, eseguire piccoli quick time event e, soprattutto, costruire. In questo titolo la costruzione ricopre un ruolo fondamentale e, a seconda del personaggio, presenta due modi di esecuzione: costruttore normale o capomastro. I costruttori normali, come Emmett, possono lavorare solo seguendo le istruzioni, che sono sparse in tutto lo scenario di gioco. Inoltre, per terminare l’oggetto, dovrai portare a termine dei quick time event. I capomastri, come Vitruvio o WyldStyle, possono costruire senza le istruzioni, dovendo solo selezionare i pezzi e combinarli. Un mondo 100% LEGO The LEGO Movie è il primo gioco della serie in cui assolutamente tutto è fatto di pezzi LEGO: gli edifici, gli animali, le persone e persino gli effetti atmosferici sono realizzati con i piccoli mattoncini colorati.
Purtroppo le texture sono inferiori a quelle dei giochi precedenti: la grafica è bella e colorata, ma manca la finitura di qualità di Marvel Super Heroes. Dal punto di vista sonoro, risalta l’ottima selezione musicale e la grande qualità del doppiaggio in diverse lingue. Un bel gioco, ma non troppo audace The LEGO Movie mantiene la qualità dei giochi LEGO, ma non si spinge oltre: il tema della costruzione avrebbe potuto essere più complesso e la grafica andrebbe senza dubbio migliorata. Nonostante qualche piccolo difetto, l’umorismo e il gameplay di The LEGO Movie piacerà ai fan della serie. It's more of the puzzle-based adventuring that LEGO has become famous for. Much like the LEGO The Lord of the Rings, this game takes you through the entire series of movies, from the 1993 original Jurassic Park to 2015's blockbuster starring Chris Pratt. You can switch between levels as you please, and each movie is divided into five. The gameplay consists of relatively simple platforming in 3D LEGO worlds, featuring puzzles that you have to solve to advance.
The game has over a hundred characters you can play, each having unique abilities to help you beat the game. Chris Pratt voiced Owen, for example , can camouflage himself - allowing you to get closer to the dinosaurs than with other characters. Lauren Dern's Ellie can grow plants, and Park Rangers are the only ones who can get through certain gates. None of this is new for a LEGO game, but LEGO Jurassic World does have parts where you'll control dinosaurs, either to help or hinder the humans on the island. The game also has a Dinosaur editor, letting you mix existing dinosaurs to create new ones, ideal for Free Mode. Free Mode lets you roam the park, and do as you please with the various human and dinosaur characters in the game. Here you can spend more time looking for collectibles without the pressure of the campaign story. You'll get to play a T-Rex, take part in races, rescue workers, and more. LEGO continues its run of fun LEGO Jurassic World is really well made, but if you've played other games in the series, there's little new here.
And some of the puzzling is started to feel a little tired. It is all very charming, though. LEGO still knows how to make a wry, amusing version of a famous movie that kids and adults can enjoy.
