Argos 3for2 on Christmas decorations*There's a 3for2 offer on Christmas trees, lights and decorations at Argos* - so buy three items and the cheapest's free - in store and online until 11.59pm on Thu 17 Nov. It's an automatic discount on everything via the link above and clearly marked in stores. Delivery's £3.95 or you can collect in store for free. Argos says over 300 items are included in the offer. These include a range of tree lights, outdoor lights, baubles, wreaths, garlands and artificial Christmas trees. How does it work? The cheapest item is free, so if you're just buying three items, you can only save as much as the lowest-priced item on your receipt is worth. For example, buy three items at £50 each and you'll pay £100 in total (saving £50). On the other hand, buy two trees at £50 each and a cheaper decoration at £5 and you still pay £100 but you only save a fiver.

So to really make the most of the offer, see if you can perhaps club together with friends and family to buy expensive items (eg, trees) in a shared transaction.
