Service was very very slow. They only had one till open and it was busy so our food was not hot enough when we paid and sat down. So I would say poor management of the restaurant. Easy to shopping and comfort ambiance, good food, nice service.... quality things.... good product also Luckily for me i live across the road from ikea so I am in it quite often and i can say without a doubt they have some of the best staff because the place is crazy with people everyday and it's always clean and neat. the staff are always available to help and they know where everything from a 500... I visited early Feb with my 2 yr old for a breakfast, as a vegetarian the breakfast was fine, not overly impressive, but it's a good price for what you get. The trolley that I used for the food tray was disgusting & should not be in circulation without being thoroughly cleaned. This has put me off &... What can you say about ikea just that it has everything under one roof. Great value for money.
We live close by so are always popping in. Definitely recommend going later in the evening as they are open until 8/9 not as busy! The staff here were kind and helpful but the food was dreadful. The meatballs tasted of little with a highly processed texture. I also tried the vegetarian meatballs, which were even worse, tasting of uncooked packet vegetable soup. The mashed potatoes had a strange, wet texture. I followed this repast with cheesecake, which was also disappointing but at least contained... Got in early to avoid the crowds as I had heard it can get busy on a Sunday. Lots of parents and kid parking which is great. Strolled around till we got to the food hall. Will go back as I have pick up a few ideas for the new house Excellent value for money. Too busy in the weekends. Have a Christmas Dinner in IKEA restaurant. The entertainment is excellent, service is good and food is reasonable good for price 7.95 per adult and 4.95 per child. We were buying some furniture and decided to have some lunch beforehand.
The food looked ok, so we ordered and paid for it. Of course I'm happy to give more information, and then I realized that it would be a great way to give an update about this piece of furniture. This is something I also noticed when putting the chairs together: After putting the chairs together, as soon as an adult sat down the legs splayed out, just as they are doing for Sherry now. But by the time I wrote the review in December, the problem had already diminished to the point of being hardly noticeable, which is why I think I forgot to include that information in my initial review. I actually had to go and sit and watch what happened to see if this was still occurring. It seems like after regular use the chairs "settle" so that the legs are no longer under as much stress as when you first sit on them after putting them together.
I am comfortable continuing to use them, and I don't worry about the immediate durability of the legs. As with any heavily-used piece of furniture (especially on wood, laminate, or tile flooring), I would recommend using some sort of floor protector pad like the Fixa - though please note from my Fixa review that that the pads are slightly too big for the Vilmar's feet (use a pair of scissors or look for a smaller pad). The Life in Dutch rating for the Vilmar Stoel/Chair remains at 3 Swedish meatballs on our 5 meatball scale. I feel that the initial rating has held up and is still an accurate depiction of the construction process and quality.
