In order to delete programmed signals and store garage door opener signals, the ignition must be switched on the turn signals must be off and the engine must be switched off. When using the garage door opener, the vehicle must be within the range of the receiver. If programming a garage door opener or gate, it is advised to unplug the device during “cycling” process to prevent possible motor burn-up. Deleting programmed signals from the keys This process deletes the entire HomeLink® programming. Deleting the programming of individual buttons is not possible. Do not repeat this process if you want to assign additional signals to the buttons.
