Store apologizes for its tasteless 'Twin Towers' mattress sale commercial Mattress company airs offensive 9/11 commercial on September 09, 2016 at 9:46 AM, updated A business in Texas and a national chain have been harshly criticized for advertising that references Sept. 11. Miracle Mattress in San Antonio posted a video on its Facebook page advertising a "Twin Towers" mattress sale in which customers can buy any size bed for the price of a twin. At the end of the commercial, two laughing employees tumble into a pile of mattresses while a third, the owner's daughter, screams in mock horror before saying "we will never forget." The owner of the store later posted an apology online, saying the video was created without his knowledge or approval. Mike Bonnano called it "tasteless and an affront to the men and woman who lost their lives on 9/11." Hundreds of comments lambasting the store for the video remain on their Facebook page. Also, a Walmart in Florida that set up a 9/11 soda display has taken it down, according to a report.
