The value of donations is determined by the price items sell for; however, you can go to the IRS website or CHKD Thrift Store representatives will be willing to help in assessing the value of donations if needed. The stores provide a much needed, inexpensive opportunity for shopping. All items donated are tax deductible at their fair market value.
