See all our restaurants and bars Our customer reviews for « Good location but with limitations » Located on Friar Street right in the middle of Reading but finding parking difficult in one way system. Friar Street "very lively" on a Saturday night and street noise audible even on the 14th floor! We were given a "disabled" room with no cupboard to hang clothes. There were a couple of pegs in the bathroom which was a wet room but not suitable to hang clothes.
We were told we could charge extras to our room on check in but then told that was not the case when wishing to buy drinks later. The room was clean but really bland and basic. I would stay hear for a stag night or on my own on business. Maybe that is the target audience? ibisReading, General Manager at Ibis Reading Centre, responded to this review I am very grateful that you could take time to leave us your thoughts and write a review. I’m so pleased with your feedback, and we hope to see you again in the very near future. « Trip to Reading » Stayed at the IBIS in reading recently. I feel breakfast is expensive at £14.00 per person. Comfortable & enjoyable stay Would stay again if I decide to go to Reading & stay over againMany thanks for mentioning about Polite staff. Our breakfast is £8.95. « Everything was great except the shower » Great hotel, great location, great breakfast, room was comfortable... only complaint, the shower... too much cold water being mixed with the hot, at maximum hot, luke warm, shivered taking a shower... reported to front desk, no change, no follow-up... had only a day or two left on my visit, lived with it...
