Come find out why this is the place we spend every second of our time that we have for vacation! Unit 39 was wonderful! This was our first trip to Maui and we will plan to return as soon asThe people, the beauty of island, food & beaches were unbelievable. A lot of great memories were made for all of us... We had a wonderful week here and found #39 to be perfect for us -- enjoyed many lovely mornings on the lanai and evenings too, cooking on the grill by the pool a few times.

Snorkeling was great this week -- calm, clear ocean & a lot to explore. spots were Kapalua Bay (the best), Black Rock (lots of sea turtles there) &I think we would all agree that we saw more in those spots than on our trip to Molokini Crater aboard the Pride of Maui! For food we like Leilani's - saw a great sunset there over Hawaiian snapper. And Bubba Gump's for a birthday celebration - our son turned 13 here. Liked to get an ice cream or shaved ice at Whaler's Cove then stroll in the evenings along Kaanapali Beach. Since we were here over the 4th, we witnessed fireworks from the airport -- a good tip for those who (like us) might want to avoid the crowds & traffic of Lahaina. We loved it here & hope to This is our 4th visit to Maui since our honeymoon ten years ago, and this was our second time here inPat & Art, Mahalo! for sharing this beautiful condo. Our children were too young to remember our last trip three years ago, and this time they called this unit a "home."

thoroughly enjoyed the pool and our favorite beach spot is Napili where water is calm for the littleWe made frequent trips to Lahaina. Vietnamese: Pho Saigon 808 Seafood: Mama's Fishhouse (the Tops!) Price, but awesome food and excellent service. Old Lahaina Luau was great and Kupanaha Magic Show was just fantastic! Not looking forward to go back home to San Francisco's cold weather. No doubt, we'll be back soon. We enjoyed this roomy condo. It was lovely being so near the ocean! Restaurants: Aloha Mixed Plate - great inexpensive food & if you arrive just after sunset you can enjoy the music of the Old Lahaina Luau next door. Mama's Fish House - Pai'a - wow Kapalua Bay is a beautiful beach and a great snorkeling place. Trilogy Lahaina Discovery - best snorkeling this trip. Boys saw dolphins & land tour was Lynne, Sally, Brooks, Alex 4531 Lower Honoapiilani Rd. • Lahaina, Maui, HI 96761 Surrounded by condos and a resort ,this beach still reminds one why so many people come here.

Another great option for a "day at the beach". The beach is beautiful. The beach has public access walkway and parking but easy to park on road and take a short walk. We saw some turtles sunning on the beach. Pleanty of snorkeling around the area. If looking for a beach north of Lahaina it is worth stopping. We walked the Trail to this beach to check it out. It's a great sandy beach somewhat protected from waves and offers great swimming and snorkelling. As it's fairly small the beach does fill up. There is also a great snack bar and washrooms too. This little beach has almost every day a wedding Very quiet spot and known for the sunset at Merriman's restaurant Between merriman's and the montage it is also a good spot for whales watching.. Although it is a beautiful setting, be careful at this beach. There can be dangerous undertow conditions. This is the best snorkeling beach we have fund. At least 3 turtles live here including an old male who hides under the reef for 20 minutes at a time.

Best to go about 4PM. Parking is a nightmare. Kapalua resort has recently put up "We Will Tow You Signs" across the street. Be prepared to walk a good half... We loved snorkeling at this beach. We didn't get started early enough to park in the parking lot, but people park all along Lower Honoapiilani Road. The snorkeling was great until the wind picked up. As soon as that happened the beach goers and snorkelers started to leave. Get an early start for the best snorkeling. This is a great beach for the family to enjoy for the day. There is good snorkeling, opportunity for boogie boarding and swimming, natural shade under the trees, and a changing room, bathroom, and outside shower. If the winds are in your favor, it's a winner! This beach has a great reputation and it's well deserved. We followed the instructions in a guidebook as to where to park, and walked down to the beach (not far at all from parking) with all our beach gear and settled in for the day. There are bathrooms and showers.
