There are multiple options for beach goers in the Destin and Crystal Beach areas. The following locations are listed from West to East beginning at the Destin Bridge. and may not be reproduced. Norriego Point is very popular with the locals due to its close proximity to the Destin Harbor restaurants and activities. One of the most popular ways to visit this location is to rent pontoons or seadoos from various rental companies in the harbor. Norriego Point is second only to Crab Island in terms of boating popularity. There are 26 parking spaces with additional parking along Gulf Shore Drive. Gulf Shore Drive at Holiday Isle | Also located along Gulf Shore Drive, this beach is more easterly than Norriego Point so if you have a load of beach gear this is a better option. Osteen is the beach closest to the high rise condos. As you head further east from Destin, Calhoun Access is a nice public beach with large parking opportunities and public restrooms. Calhoun Access is located on the old Scenic Hwy 98 just West of Henderson Beach State Park.




Scenic Hwy 98 at Restaurant Row | Located adjacent to Calhoun Access, JWD Park also has ample parking facilities, Bike Racks, and public restrooms. 7th Street & Scenic Hwy 98 | Silver Shells is the very next public beach to the east of June White, effectively forming a nice trio of options between Calhoun Access, June White Decker and Silver Shells. Amenities include ample parking, bike racks, and public restrooms. 17000 Emerald Coast Pkwy | Henderson Beach State Park is the crown jewel of Destin Beaches, especially if you are looking for serenity. This beach requires a park access fee, and there is ample parking and public restrooms. Scenic Hwy 98 at Shirah Street | Located on Scenic US 98 in the Crystal Beach area, this is a nice beach option with a "locals" feel. Take Mathew Street off Emerald Coast Parkway down to 98, then left until you see it. Parking can be challenging during the season, and there are no public restrooms at this location. 2966 Scenic Hwy 98 |




Just slightly further east from Shirah Street Access, this location has a parking area, pavilion, picnic tables and public restrooms. Turn south off Emerald Coast Parkway at Hutchison Street and you will arrive at the location. Scenic Hwy 98 at Crystal Beach Drive | Traveling a quarter mile further east from The Shores, you’ll find the Crystal Beach Drive access. This location has limited parking and tends to be the more private and less crowded of the Crystal Beach options. Barracuda & Hwy 98 | This public access beach is slightly east of Crystal Beach Drive and very similar, with limited parking and no public restrooms. Scenic Hwy 98 at Pompano Street | Another Crystal Beach option, located slightly further east from Barracuda Stree.This location also has limited parking. Scenic Hwy 98 & Tarpon Street | Located 1 block east of Pompano Street, this public access beach is limited in parking and facilities but tends to be less crowded than others.




3510 Scenic Hwy 98 | Located about a mile further east from Tarpon Street, this county park has public parking, a pavilion, picnic tables, and public restrooms. Located at the intersection of Geronimo Street and Scenic 98 (old 98). Located next to Pompano Joe's, 2375 Scenic Gulf Drive (Old 98). Large parking lot, ADA accessible, restrooms, beach wheelchairs, lifeguards (seasonal). Located on 132 Norwood Drive, two blocks South of US 98. Located on 2130 Open Gulf Street, two blocks South of US 98. Located on 253 Sand Trap Road, two blocks South of US 98. One pavilion, a picnic table, restrooms and parking. 372 Santa Rosa Boulevard | Located between Gulf Dunes Resort and Azure Condos. Two pavilions, two picnic tables, grills, and restrooms. 1300 Miracle Strip Pkwy (the Boardwalk) | Open from dawn to dusk. 1550 Miracle Strip Parkway (HWY 98) | John C. Beasley Public Beach Park is a large beach park on Okaloosa Island with 2 dune walkovers to the Gulf of Mexico. This park has 2 large pavilions, 12 picnic tables, an octagonal platform, restrooms with changing rooms and 208 parking spaces. 5753 Scenic 30A West | Parking, restrooms, ADA accessible, lifeguards (seasonal)




Located on Scenic 30A about 2 miles west of the Scenic 393 intersection at Gulf Place. 5605 Scenic 30A | No car parking, bike and cart parking, showers. 58173 Scenic 30A | Some parking and a shower. Approximately a mile West of Scenic 393 (Gulf Place) 726 Blue Mountain Road | Between Big Redfish Lake and the Gulf, no car parking. 2365 Scenic 83 South | Parking, restroom, lifeguards (seasonal). 590 Blue Mountain Road | At the Intersection of Seagrade Road and Blue Mountain Road, no parking. 357 Main Park Road | One of the most popular parks on the Gulf. Massive dunes, trails, lakes, boat ramp, cabins, camping, tent camping, parking, picnic tables, restrooms, shelters. Located in Grayton at the end of Garfield Street behind the Red Bar. ADA accessible, showers, parking on the street. Boat launching from the beach is allowed. 125 Sandy Lane | Located in Grayton, access from Hotz Avenue behind the Red Bar.
