PVC, which stands for polyvinyl chloride, is a plastic widely used by many industries. Apart from your airbed, PVC can be found in pipes and flooring, medical devices and electrical cables among many other uses. What is the weight capacity of my airbed? All full and queen size beds in our current product line have a weight capacity of 500 lbs. All Twin Size beds in our current product line have a weight capacity of 350 lbs. Can I use my airbed as a full time bed? We do not recommend our products for everyday use. Where should I store my airbed? Avoid storing your airbed in any location that experiences extreme temperatures or temperature fluctuations. This can cause stress on the airbed material which can lead to failure. Do not store in humid environments. Do not unpack the bed in freezing temperatures. Why is my battery pump not filling my bed completely? For best performance, we recommend using only high quality alkaline batteries in our airbed pumps.

If the pump becomes too weak to bring the bed to full firmness, it’s time to replace the batteries. Why is my battery pump not working? Check to ensure the batteries are installed properly and that the battery door is fully closed. Inspect the inside of the battery compartment for signs of damage or corrosion. Corrosion can result from leaving batteries in your pump too long. If there are no visible signs of damage and the pump is still not working, replace all batteries with new ones. Why is my bed losing air after a couple of hours? Much of the time, airbeds that sag down in the middle of the night do so because the material has stretched as a result of temperature changes and the weight of the people sleeping on them. When this happens, simply use your pump to add more air (does not apply to neverFLAT™ products). If the bed continues to lose air, this could be the result of a hole in the mattress. The majority of airbed holes can be found and patched successfully.

How do I find and repair a hole if my bed is losing air? Using a clean spray bottle, fill 2/3 with water and add one (1) tablespoon of dish soap. Mix together gently until the soap suds and dissolves (Do not shake). Spray a light application of the solution over the surface of your inflated airbed. Air escaping through holes in the mattress will begin to cause bubbles to form in the soap solution above the location of the hole. Once the hole has been identified, deflate the bed, clean and dry the area around the hole and apply the repair patch supplied with the airbed. It is best to round the corners of the patch with a pair of scissors before applying it to the airbed to cover the hole. This will help prevent the patch from snagging and peeling up later on. After covering the hole with the patch and pressing down on all sides to ensure a tight seal, place a heavy object on the patch and let sit for 24 hours. Can I use patches other than the ones supplied? Yes, the majority of home, sporting goods and outdoor retailers as well as many hardware stores sell vinyl repair kits that are compatible with our products.

Can I use a heated blanket on my airbed? We do not recommend the use of heated blankets with our airbeds. Will normal sheets work with my airbed? For single height airbeds between 7 and 9 inches tall, normal sheets will work. For raised height airbeds between 15 and 20 inches tall, normal sheets will work; however, we recommend deep pocket sheets for the best fit on raised airbeds. Will my neverFLAT™ or other 120V AC powered airbed work with a power inverter in my automobile? DC to AC inverters are rated by their output power (watts). Only use a power inverter whose output power rating (watts) exceeds the power requirements specified on the pump. The Wattage of the AC pump on your airbed may be printed on the housing of the pump itself or it may be included on the certification tag attached to the power cable. For example, the neverFLAT™ pump rating is 120V AC 60Hz, 1.1A 130W. The final number, 130, is the required wattage. Please read the tags and printing on your pump to verify the wattage requirement before using it with a power inverter.
