Congratulation on buying a store! I wish you good luck in advertising!

I definitely recommend to view all settings and every menu category in the dashboard to understand what is responsible for every aspect of the store.

Here is a few steps you should do after the deal:

1) Change general settings

The first thing you should do - change a country in the settings. It's very important because you'll connect payment gateways based in your location.

Go to Settings > General > Store address. Change the address to yours.

2) Buy a new domain for your store!

In case you already have got the domain, check out this article: here

If you can't come up with the new name for your store, I recommend you this servise by Shopify: Business name generator (click on it).
After you chose a name: Buy a new domain on Shopify for a 14$/year.

You can choose another domain registrar like GoDaddy or 1and1 but with Shopify Domains it will be very easy - a few clicks and everything is done!

3) Connect payment gateway for the store.

Available payment gateways in your country: here

Go to the Settings > Payments. Fing Bogus Gateway and and deactivate it.

After deactivation of Bogus you should connect your payment gateway. If you live in US, Canada or in some EU countires - you can add Shopify Payment (it's very easy). If your country doesn't support Shopify Payments then use PayPal. Note that you can use them in the same time!

4) Change info on Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and other pages. (if you wish)

If you want your store to look professional on 100% - you should change some info.

Go to Online Store > Pages.

Now you should open the first page called "About us" - press Ctrl+F and write Shop. After that change all the Shops with the name you picked for your store. Do it one by one with every page.

You need to do this because I didn't know the name you will choose.

5) Services I recommend to use.

Here is a list of websites I use for the different tasks:

Free Logo Maker and Shopify Logo Maker - use them to create a logo for your store or something else.

Canva - this website is Photoshop but online. Use it to create every image from Instagram post to Facebook page cover.

Pexels and Burst - if you need a beautiful image with high-resolution and buisnes free - use these two websites. You can find any picture on almost any topic.

FaceBook Text Overlay - when you will create an Ad in Canva and will be ready to post it on FB or Instagram Ad - check th image here. It will tell you if the image is correct for the Ad or not.

Shopify Tools - the rest of the free tools from Shopify.
