This week, one based on The Golden Girls got 10,000 supporters -- enough to be moved on to Lego for official review. The set features the original four ladies -- Dorothy, Rose, Sophia, and Blanche -- as well as Stanley, Dorothy's ex-husband. You can move them around their kitchen, living room, and foyer. Meticulous details include wicker furniture, cabinets that open and close, a kitchen storage closet, and an outdoor seating area.Did Jimmy Kimmel buy a $2 million nude painting of Bea Arthur?Lego user (and Golden Girls superfan) lostsleep uploaded the images to the site on March 18. Most submissions to the Ideas site feature a couple of concept shots, but lostsleep went all out with more than 20 different scenes.

"I have recreated many classic scenes from the show, including a visit from Burt Reynolds, Rose shooting Blanche's Vase, Dorothy Playing 'Grab That Dough' and Rose rescuing her Teddy Bear from a mean little girl," lostsleep writes. On April 8, the fan added, "If we can get to 5,000 votes, I will add the Lanai behind the Foyer. The girls need a place to relax in the sun and play cards."The girls will get it: The idea has received more than a quarter of a million views, and as of April 9, had the 10,000 votes necessary to move on to the next stage. Lego will review the idea and announce whether or not the set will reach production. In the last round of reviews, Lego evaluated eight projects and announced the winners in February: A WALL-E toy and a set of Doctor Who, including at least one Doctor, two companions, a Dalek, and of course, the TARDIS. Past winners that have landed in stores include sets based on Back to the Future, the Mars Curiosity Rover, and the Ghostbusters Ecto-1.TODAY'S VIDEO: Why did Billy Crystal return to TV?

American Horror Story: Roanoke Captain America: Civil War The Man Who Saved Central City Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give or Take Three Queens, Two TigersCobie Smulders Talks Avengers: Age of Ultron, LEGO Sets Reveal Key MomentsAvengers: Age of Ultron is poised to bring the fractured Marvel cinematic universe together again next summer. That includes the likes of Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America plus several new characters like Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. Among all those heroes, though, are even more characters making up the larger MCU picture, such as former S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent-turned-Stark Industries employee Maria Hill as played by Cobie Smulders. “There’s so many pieces to this giant puzzle, and I’m happy that Maria Hill is one of them,” Smulders told EW. “She’s working for Tony Stark, yes, but they shot so many locations all over the world and this team is out doing all sorts of things. So I like to think that Maria is at headquarters, trying to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

And working for Tony Stark is a whole other ballgame. She doesn’t have S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel to back her up at her disposal, so it’s an entirely different vibe for her.”Smulders goes on to tease Hill’s role in the film, which she’s excited is present along with the other women of the MCU.“I see Maria as having a more of a female presence in this world, and it’s really exciting to have Scarlet Witch [Elizabeth Olsen] come in, and to see the Black Widow [Scarlett Johansson] have these amazing moments, and see more women on film with all these dudes. Speaking of pieces, the first image of the Avengers: Age of Ultron LEGO sets have debuted online (via CBM) and seemingly reveal some details about key moments from the film. Though we’d normally be suspicious of movie tie-in toys revealing anything at all, the sets in the image below do correspond to sequences seen in the initial trailer and set photos we’ve seen. Check it out below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, James Spader, Cobie Smulders, Thomas Kretschmann, Paul Bettany and Stellan Skarsgard. /h9982FQQrC— MGF Customs/Reviews (@MgfCustoms) December 16, 2014The biggest LEGO event of the year: the New York Toy Fair 2016 began Saturday, February 13th at 7AM EST! Just like last year, I was at the press event in the morning, posting images, articles and videos from the show as fast as my little fingers could! But if you want to see them, most of our coverage won’t be here on Bricks And Bloks–because the grand opening of our rebranded site has arrived–our LEGO Toy Fair 2016 coverage will be taking place on our new site, Brick Toy News! When I stopped posting on this site a few weeks ago and the Bricks and Bloks social media accounts started posting links to articles on different sites, I genuinely though one of this site’s 8,000+ followers might ask what was up.

But nope–it appears that as long as the photos and writing are good, you guys don’t care what site they’re posted on! And that’s a good thing, because I’ve got a deep, dark secret to share: I hate the name “Bricks and Bloks”. I have hated that name almost since the day I purchased the domain and started this site, and it’s grated on me more and more over the past few years. And so, after publishing thousands of articles and tens of thousands of photos, and gaining a social media following of over 8,000 people for Bricks and Bloks… I’m changing the name of this site and starting fresh with an all-new domain. And so, please look forward to several weeks of in-depth New York Toy Fair LEGO coverage and photo previews over on Brick Toy News! I’m about to leave the Javits Convention Center and head over to the Hasbro presentation as I’m writing this, but expect hundreds–if not thousands–of new photos to start popping up on Brick Toy News tonight and as the weekend goes on!
