Garage Door Part/Accessory Type: are these kits available in the store? My local store is located in Burlington Washington The track is 2" depth from front to back of track. It should work well even on thicker doors. You may have to install attaching screws on the front and rear of track instead of the center due to the non-solid wood layer in the center of your door. I do not know. If the door is about 16 ft. wide and made of wood or aluminum with about a 3" wide base on the bottom, it should work fine. My garage door was a lift up aluminum measuring 16 ft. and I had about 4" left over after the install. I had about a 3" to 4" wide base on the bottom of the door. 16 ft. You nail this product on. There are other products for metal garage doors. There is a product called ProSeal model number 55020, Home Depot internet number 202205595. Will this work on double wood door with a gap of about 2 1/4 in near edge of one side where it meets floor? NO, it will not fill a gap of that width. Normally when there is that much of a gap on a garage door, the door has gotten out of alignment and needs to have a garage door specialist correct the problem. i have uneven garage floor I do not know of anything that would fill that large of a gap. Your garage door takes a replacement vinyl strip at the bottom. The product you are referring to, is a nail-on product for wood doors and cannot be attached to aluminum doors. will this work on a 1 1/4" thick wooden garage door?
