Hey there, Buchanan Towers! I am excited to be returning to BT for a second year. I am a transfer student from Centralia College located in my hometown of Centralia, WA and this is my third year here at Western. I am studying Anthropology/Social Studies Education, with the hopes of becoming a teacher once I graduate. I’m an avid coffee drinker and book collector/reader as well as a nerd when it comes to computers. One thing I really enjoy about Western is the campus. I still discover knew things when walking about. I’m thrilled to be back and cannot wait to meet you all.My name is Lindsay Heimerl and I am a Bio-Mathematics major. I am a sophomore, and am part of Chemistry club. I am a Dungeons and Dragons fan, a gym fanatic, and lover of RPG video games. I'm looking forward to working with all of you! Hi there, I’m Alethea! I’m a junior majoring in Geology with a minor in history and anthropology. I transferred to Western with my associates degree in 2014. My dream is to work at a national park and teach people about rocks and formations.

In my free time I like playing video games, grabbing coffee with friends, and backpacking! My favorite thing about Western is the population size, there’s opportunities to meet new people every day, but you’ll still run into a friend or two on the way to class. The proximity to downtown is also really nice. I’m so excited to meet everyone! Please drop by if you want to hang, chat, or have a cup of tea! Hello my name is Gloria Evstatieva and I am a junior here at Western Washington University. This is my second year as a Resident Advisor and I am so thrilled to continue my experience in ResLife. I am a Marketing major and in the Student Marketing Association club, as well as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In my free time I love to hike, go get coffee at Boulevard Park, and go out to eat. My favorite thing about Western is sitting by the fountain with friends and waiting for my next class. My favorite building at Western is Academic West, therefore you might catch me studying there all the time.

I’m originally from Bulgaria and speak fluent Bulgarian, and I love meeting other people from other parts around the world and hear their experience here in America. This is going to be an exciting year and I can’t wait to start building a strong community at Buchanan Towers. My name is Nikhil Amin and I'm currently a sophomore in Western! I'm studying and majoring in Geology with a GIS minor and hope to go into water quality testing in the future. I would have to say my favorite thing about Western is the closeness to nature. I love to hike and be outdoors, so obviously this was the right choice for me. I can't wait for the year ahead and hope everyone else is as excited as I am!This is my second year at Western Washington University and I am now a sophomore. This is my first year as a Resident Adviser, but I plan to make it the best. I am currently studying towards a History/Social Studies major, then I will apply to the Secondary Education program through Woodring, and finally a Masters-In-Teaching.

I am involved in a number of clubs here at Western including Swing Kids, Hiking Club, and the Newman Center. I love hiking, camping, mountaineering and practically anything outside because nature is my home! My favorite color is dark green, I’m a Leo, and I love any and all kinds of music. My favorite thing about Western is the insane amount of opportunities there are to follow your passions. Don’t waste a second of your time here at Western. Also, explore Bellingham (“The City of Subdued Excitement”) if you have not already. I so look forward to meeting you all. This year is going to be rad!I am a junior and in my third year here at Western. I am majoring in Developmental Psychology as well as earning my Elementary Education certificate to become a teacher. In my spare time I really enjoy hiking and being outside in the sun, but I also love rainy days where I can play a board game or watch a movie. I love that Western has such a diverse student body and so many opportunities for students to get involved in whatever interests them.

I am a big football fan and love animals (especially my English Bulldog- Maximus). I cannot wait to be a RA in Buchanan Towers and get to know all of you. Come by my room anytime and say hi! View My Buyback Alert List NOTE: All prices are subject to change and condition of book. Q: What is an ISBN and where do I find it? Q: What determines how much I get paid when I sell my books back to the University Book Store? The buyback price is determined by a variety of factors. For buyback pricing, textbooks fall into one of three categories. During the course of a semester or buyback period, a title may move from one category to another based on demand.

The categories are as follows: If a faculty member has notified the University Book Store that a book will be used on campus next semester, in most cases we will pay ½ of the current new book price, even if you bought the book used or the new book price was lower at the time of your purchase. When we have met our anticipated needs for that title for the upcoming semester, we will purchase that title for the used book wholesalers. Books not ordered for the upcoming semester Used book wholesalers determine the prices they will pay for certain books. The University Book Store technically acts as the wholesaler's agent and buys the book for the company from the student, and thus we must use their prices. Nationwide demand, current wholesaler supply and anticipated revision dates are some of the factors that the wholesale companies use in determining the prices they offer. Books that we are not buying back There are four reasons why a book may not have any buyback value:
