I chose it because it is pet friendly with some rooms designated to dog lovers, with the rule that doggie bags are needed and the dogs cannot jump on the furniture and have their bed with them. I'm not sure if it was the way we operated it or not, but there was only one normal tap in the shower and while it was marked 'hot' we could only get cold out...Thank Sharni P Hi Sharni, thanks for your review. The shower has been fitted with what we call a "mixer" in it. These are common in NZ and produce both hot and cold water. Turning it changes the temperature. Motel is located on a busy street about 10 mins walk from Northlands Mall. I stayed in room 1 which was a generous sized downstairs unit. Decor was a little dated but stay was fine. Nice little wrought iron table and chair outside unit. Host was very cheerful and friendly.
