Certification instruments are the only formal tools that derive a "Pass" or "Fail" according to industry standards. In international markets, the institution in charge of verifying these standards is the Electrotechnical Commission of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO / IEC), who are responsible for creating and maintaining standards for telecommunications cabling.

Certification is a set of tests that demonstrate that the cabling system, and the structure that supports it, are in optimal conditions to meet the needs of the organization. If so, you will ensure the durability of the investment you are making and you will have a guarantee of up to 25 years on the materials used. Otherwise, the diagnosis will show possible faults and corrective action can be taken.

When the structured cabling system is installed, one of the tools used to verify the operation is the certifier. This device generates a report with the conditions in which each channel is found, and the category of the existing cabling (Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7).

These certification tools detect if a link is compatible with a certain category (AIT) or type (ISO). An example might be Category 6 or Class E. Certification is the closure formally required by many structured cabling manufacturers to provide their warranties for a new cabling installation.

Structured Cabling Systems (SCS) are the roots of your company's information networks. This physical support (made up of cables, connectors and metallic structures) is the sustenance of the proper functioning of your data, voice, video, security and even energy services.
