Be sure your hair is pin back and flat before putting a flexible tape measure at your front center hairline and placing it over the other ear. Note down the measurement.

Front to Nape For a precise front-to-nape measurement begin with your tape measure in the middle of your forehead and pull it around directly behind one ear, before dragging it along the nape of your neck toward the other ear. This measurement is known as your head circumference and will help determine what size hairstyle you require. It's important to remember that if your measurement falls somewhere between two size, selecting the larger cap will give you greater flexibility for future adjustments.

To determine your nape measurement, put the tape measure on the lowest point of your neck hairline, and then measure diagonally to find your nape width measurement. Again, it is crucial that your hair be styled as you intend to wear it under your wig prior to taking these measurements so they are precise. We suggest taking four measurements to ensure your results stay consistent.

The last but not least is an ear-to ear measurement. To get this measurement done easily and quickly, simply place the tape measure in one ear's center before moving the tape across your body to take measurements of both ears. Repeat the process several times for your ear-to-ear measurement.

Ear to Ear Ear-to-ear measurements are among the most crucial wig measurements. If your wig does not sit properly over your head, it won't appear natural and won't sit properly. This measurement begins by starting in front of your hairline at the middle of your forehead. After that, you can run tape to take a measurement all the way back behind the ear until where your neck bends down toward your nape (you should repeat this process on both sides to complete all measurements).

Tape measures that are flexible can be the perfect tool to take this measurement. Be sure to remove any hairstyles which could skew the results, like low ponytails or braids before securing the tape measure in order that it does not come loose when measuring. Bringing it beneath the hair also ensures there's no confusion over where your head's measurements are taken.
