Why Do Religions Believe In God?

God's nature is entirely devoid of any taint of wrongdoing; the Holy Architect is responsible for the virtues of honesty, patience, purity, holiness, love, and much more, all of which are evident in His design of our world.

Can You Believe In God Religion?

God has specific ways He wants us to live our lives, not just to make things hard for us, but because that's who He is. He is doomed to always be and do the same thing. God can't act in ways that are inconsistent with His nature.
You might describe it as the unalterable principles of the universe.
So, the God of the Bible is the Great Creator God of the whole universe, as well as the creator of the smallest part of an atom, which is invisible to us. Check out what the Bible says here:

"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. (Isaiah 42:8)
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. (Deuteronomy 4:24)
The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. (Psalm 113:4)
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (1 Chronicles 29:11)
All the angels were standing around the throne...They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, (Revelation 7:11)

A lot of people today only know God in theory, they haven't had a genuine interaction with Him.

Everything in the universe belongs to God, including us, and He wants what's His. We're called to love Him and serve Him in response to His love.
It can be difficult to accept, but this world is His toy, and He can make it however He likes. If you or I made it, we could set the rules. Nonetheless, God affirms:

'Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.' (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)

God could have made life easier by taking away danger, but it would mean we lose our humanity and become robots. But, that is certainly not what God wanted. God wanted beings that could freely choose to love Him or not.
A creature that reflected some of God's attributes.

Giving someone the power to choose can lead to them rejecting you, which is risky.

When you create something that can make its own choices, it might turn against you, and that's what we did.
It's a problem because we all make mistakes or have bad thoughts, which the Bible calls sin. Doing these things completely defies God's nature and holiness, and it's like breaking the laws of the universe that He created. These mistakes have caused us to be far away from God.

'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?'(Jeremiah 17:9)
'But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.' (Psalm 19:12)

It is important to acknowledge that every sinful act creates an obligation towards God that must be fulfilled by you.

Our debts to God:
'And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.' (Matthew 6:12)

All of these things are breaking God's perfect purity. Do you understand?
Have you ever stolen something? The Bible says it's a bad thing to do.
Scripture teaches us not to desire what rightfully belongs to others. Have you ever felt envy towards your friend's spouse, way of life, belongings, or residence?
Showing respect to our parents is a commandment from God. Have you ever disobeyed your parents by talking back?
God forbids using His Name in vain or flippantly. Have you ever used God's Name in a careless or disrespectful way?

God knows about everything all things nothing small thing is hidden. Always remember, we learned that ALL the bad things need to be corrected. A day will come when ALL the bad things will be examined. Another way to put it is, finding reconciliation with the unchangeable laws of the universe. Or as the Bible puts it, to calm down God's anger. This might be surprising to you, as you might have been told that God loves everyone so much. People have started to believe that God can never get angry with anyone, no matter what they do. Many people who don't understand the basics argue that God is supposed to love us no matter what mistakes we make.
Yes, God loves the world, but we must not overlook His holiness. It's not within the realm of possibility.

Grasping the essence of God, who is eternal, becomes unattainable when we use our expectations, behavior, and earthly norms.
He truly is 'out of this world' and He tells us who He is and how He rules in the Bible We can't expect God to follow our rules, it's like hoping for something fake that won't last long.

God is not responsible for the suffering and problems in the world, even though some people try to make Him out to be. He made everything perfect. Adam messed up and we're still messing up.

In the Holy Book, it is written...

'For all have sinned (done wrongs things), and do need the glory of God. wrongs' (Romans 3:23)

Being a good person and doing good things won't protect you from the punishment for bad thoughts and actions. It's only Jesus Christ who can do this. Even if you're a good person and attend church, you may still end up in hell. We must fully admit our wrong stuff and tell God we really are sorry, and really mean it. Once we ask for forgiveness, we must live our lives fully for God.
Again, the Bible explains that the outcome of our bad actions is eternal punishment in hell:

'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 6:23)

God Makes A Way For You To Be Forgiven

Thankfully, God provided a solution for all the wrong things we do that satisfies His unchanging laws of the universe.
To fulfill His glorious plan, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die and rise again. This incredible plan was carried out in public, before all creation: people, angels, and even Satan saw it happen. This is only way to atone for our wrong actions.

People argue that God can't be a loving God if He is so strict all the time. Love is a fundamental part of God's character., but, as the Bible says, God's justice is an essential aspect of His love. You cannot have one without the other.
We can't fully comprehend God's truth with our limited minds. We should not expect God to follow our rules because it gives us the wrong impression of Him. God is aware of every thought you have, so there's no way to deceive Him.

Surrendering to God After Saying Sorry

Once you've sincerely apologized for your wrongdoings, you'll naturally want to live a life for God. God requires us to do exactly this. It's like making God the chief of our lives for the long haul. We obey every instruction in the Bible.
The Bible points out that's the right course of action:

'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

God never said this, not once; 'To get to heaven and be with me, be a good person and do good for others.'
God has spoken about how you can be forgiven of your sins:

'To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:

"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:'God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." (Luke 18:9-14)

The religious man in the story did not commit "bad" sins like rape, but that did not mean God forgave him.
The tax collector cheated, but he was forgiven by God because he truly repented. Admitting we were wrong and giving our lives to God is a humiliating experience. Despite that, without surrendering to God, we cannot be saved from our mistakes.

Jesus Christ uttered:

'He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
'And said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew 18:2-3)

Devoting oneself to virtuous deeds for God alone won't secure our salvation; salvation from hell isn't attained by being a good person.

'You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.' (Ephesians 2:8)

Do You Want To Confess Your Wrongdoing And Let Jesus Pay For It, Or Not?

'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

Taking up your cross means living a life of sacrifice and service to God every day.

The Word of God also tells us that:

'Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

'But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.' (1Peter 3:15)

In brief:

You become aware of your faults and imperfections in God's presence. You honestly admit your mistake before God. Jesus Christ becomes your CEO. This decision lasts forever. The Bible instructs us to live for God, and that's what we do. Consistently read the Bible to grow in your faith. Setting aside time every day to pray to God. Leading others to God. Helping others in whatever way we can. You commit to serving God Most High with all your heart and soul for life.
God our Father will bring us to heaven.
