Overwhelmed by an incredible response, we selected six inspirational women to be photographed for the campaign at Frame Studios, Shoreditch.We went behind the scenes, to find out how each woman became so passionate about fitness, how they stay motivated and how they move their frame. Cat (@catmeffan) Jewellery designer What got you started? I was a dancer and gymnast growing up, but then injured my knee, so couldn’t be active anymore. This shifted my focus, and it was only a few years ago that I rediscovered the motivation to exercise again, inspired by my partner.
How do you keep up the motivation?I find writing it down and sharing with others inspires me to carry on. On down days, Instagram is a huge push, Natasha Oakley’s account is a good one. Also, making exercise social, chatting to others and doing group exercise with friends. When I ran the half trail marathon, I was in absolute pain but I managed to push through. Also my biggest yoga brag is when I managed my first scorpion 4 arm stand.What is your ultimate workout track and move? They are always embarrassing aren’t they? Fascination by Alphabeat, Uptown Funk is brilliant too. When you run you really need a good power ballad - I highly recommend Celine Dion’s Only One Road.Workout staple? Crop tops as they are so minimal, I don’t like any extra fabric interrupting my workout. How do you feed your frame?I love a green smoothie everyday – or should I say brown smoothie. I opt for banana instead of avocado and buying frozen blueberries makes it so much cheaper. Perform Crop Top £35,

Laura L (@lulafitness) Personal trainer for new mothers What got you started?I wasn’t very sporty at school, and I only got into fitness after university.I do different classes to mix it up and generally try not to make excuses to myself. I find if I can walk to a class the mental barrier is out of the way.When I did my first ever headstand in yoga…or probably my first half marathon. That was a big one for me.Best time to work out?In the evenings, I train myself after training clients.High waist leggings – they are the best investment. I didn’t know anyone in the city and got handed a leaflet on the subway for yoga classes. I thought I’d go along, try it and make friends. I loved it and would run there from work in order to make the classes.
I like to give myself a reason to exercise. I trained for the half marathon because I was supporting and fundraising for my friend who’s mum passed away. I also set times to workout, and make sure I leave work on time to keep to my schedule. Best time to workout?You can drop everything you’re doing and I know that I’ll sleep better afterwards.Building my running time - my fastest 10k is 49 minutes which I’m pretty happy about. My running ‘power song’ changes weekly. At the moment it’s Million Voices by Otto Knows. A good quality sports bra, and shorts that are tight underneath and baggy over the top. It feels easy for me to teach the moves to others and train their bodies.
How do you keep the motivation?No matter how hard the thought of it is, after you exercise you never regret it.I recently persuaded my sister (who is pretty adverse to running) to do a charity run with me. Even my three-year-old son Jude ran 1 mile for Sports Relief.What is your ultimate workout track and move?Michael Jackson Beat It has the right tempo for sit up’s and Beyonce’s Grown Woman is the ideal soundtrack for cardio.Anything with a high waist and a supportive crop top.Ideal workout partnerUsian Bolt, he’d be good fun, but also he’s basically superhuman. Whilst there I started rugby, lacrosse and worked on my professional dancing.I use exercise to focus me and to get me out of my headspace.I find the morning is best but I prefer doing yoga late at night.I entered the 24-hour danceathon held by Fatboy Slim. You literally couldn’t stop…people were dancing in the queue for the toilet.
I died the next day. What is your ultimate workout track and move?Kickstarts by Example and Bootylicious by Destiny’s Child are brilliant for cardio and spin. Emily (@emily_yoga) Yoga instructorI studied dance from a young age and opted for yoga as a long-term alternative. It’s a less rigid alternative - it’s more about how you feel as opposed to how you look. There is room for difference within the poses, depending on your body. I enjoy the focus on longevity, joints and balance of strength.Even on tough days, you can revive your mind with yoga. I tend to find, if I’m stressed or worried, I hold tension in my body. Yoga offers a gentle relief and the mind will follow. I aim to slot in my own practice before I teach a class, either in the studio, in the park, or even my living room.
