I ended up ordering another pair of Croc rain boots my 8 year old too! Bump It Boot (Toddler/Little Kid) I bought these for my 5 year old son in navy. The first time he wore them he had low socks on and he said they rubbed his ankles. We went home and put on long socks and he said that helped. To me, they seem kind of stiff when he walks but I don't know if they will break in after he wears them some more. Overall, he says they are comfortable though so we are keeping them. Got these rainboots for my 6 year old son in Navy blue. They are very lightweight and comfortable. I would definitely recommend. Crocs I ordered (Gems/Carnation color)don't look like pictured. There are no dark purple stones on the side, just pale pink ones. Overall, Gems/Carnation crocs look cheap, not attractive. My toddler loves these! They are easy to get on and off and he can put them on himself which he loves! My son preferred these over a different pair of sandals I'd gotten for him. Can't go wrong with Crocs! We bought these for our first trip to Disney but ended up wearing them the whole vacation. My husband was reluctant because he thought the lights would distract our son and he wouldn't walk as well. It turned out to be the opposite. He walked (or stomped) all around town showing off his first pair of light up shoes. These are the best rainboots for kids! They are super lightweight and easy for them to pull on by themselves. My kids love wearing them to jump in puddles.
