I think you could easily inflate/deflate every day. Deflating takes maybe 5 minutes, and the motorized deflator does all the work. I tend to do two cycles to deflate, to get all the air out. It then folds up by itself and you just have to fold it back, and into the carrier case - which remains part of the structure of the bed so it's not like you're jamming anything into a sack. Does the automatic inflation work as well on carpet I set up this bed on a "shag" area rug and had no problem with the inflation at all. The legs stand on the carpet and the pump/mattress are elevated. is it possible to "override" the pump and not have it automatically go on? I am concerned about the sound associated with it. I just posted a review of this product, I would not recommend.
