America's Biggest Legoland May Be Heading to New Jersey Area Orange County, NY may soon be home to the country’s largest Legoland theme park Orange County, New York, twenty miles from the border of New Jersey, is set to be the new home of the largest Legoland theme park in the country. The proposed park will sit on 300 acres of land and will be more than twice the size of the (current largest) Legoland in Florida. This Legoland will feature large, outdoor amusement park rides and attractions resembling Lego’s infamous plastic construction bricks. The park will be much larger than the Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester, New York and the one under construction in the Meadowlands. The new theme park will sit on farmland in Goshen, located off Route 17. Officials expect the park to attract around 1,000,000 visitors per year. Surpassing Legoland locations in California and Florida, Legoland New York will be the most expansive Lego-themed park in the country. Florida’s Legoland features a waterpark and hotel on 150 acres-- we can only imagine what Legoland New York will have to boast about!
