Ben Lerer, managing director of Lerer Hippeau Ventures, an investor in the company, said Casper’s branding isn’t yet as nuanced as Warby Parker’s — which his firm has also invested in — but it has established a streamlined and even elegant image faster than most startups are able to do. “I think the brand is finding its voice now,” Lerer said. Casper has raised $14.95 million over two funding rounds, and it’s soft launching another showroom and office in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
