Slideshows on this site are very interesting.

Slides are followed by a script tag that contains different information about a photo/slide. (Author, caption, ...)

Some of these scripts may contain only author an no caption and vice versa.

Sometimes slideshows have their own figcaption that may be similar to the captions of specific figures/slides inside of a slideshow.

My approach to the problem is to check if figcaption of the full gallery contains figcaption of specific slide taken from script tag.

If slide captions are duplicated in the main captions(gallery caption), I remove the main captions and leave it only per figure/slide.

This one also has multiple credits. And you can't keep them in the main figcaptions of the slideshow.

If you inspect the script that follows the first figure, it has the full text that you see under the main figcaptions of the whole gallery. The second one contains only credits.
