From entire kitchens to a set of door hinges, we accept a wide range of home improvement items that we then resell to the public at a fraction of the original price. Your donation makes a difference When you donate items to Habitat ReStore or shop at a ReStore to renovate or furnish your home, you're helping Habitat for Humanity GTA achieve its mission to build safe, decent and affordable homes for working, low-income families living in need of affordable housing, through our unique affordable homeownership program. You're also helping the environment by allowing ReStore to divert thousands of tonnes of perfectly re-usable household items away from landfills and into other people's homes! Three Easy Ways to Donate to Habitat ReStore: 1. Drop Off: Drop off your new or gently-used acceptable donation items at one of our 10 ReStore locations across the GTA during store hours.

Pick-Up: For larger, multi-item donations of furniture, appliances and lighting or for large corporate donations, you can schedule a pick-up from your home. Just email us a photo of your items or fill out this form and our team of friendly volunteers will arrive at your door ready to carefully take it away. 3. Book a Home Deconstruction: Our home "Deconstruction Team" will carefully and professionally dismantle and remove large items you choose to donate such as, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinetry and appliances, windows and doors from your home at absolutely no cost! Plus, you receive a tax receipt for the assessed resale value of the items. Think of what you'll save in demolition and disposal costs, not to mention the environmental impact! For faster service, please fill out the online form below (To help speed up the donation process, please include a photo of your items.): Our team will determine if your item is for drop off, pick up, or appraisal for deconstruction. If required, we will come to your home to assess the donation and provide you with an estimated value for your donation. We will then schedule a pick-up or deconstruction date that fits with your renovation project timing. On the scheduled date, our team will arrive to remove the item(s) from your home. Once your donated items are on the sales floor in one of our ReStores, we will mail you your charitable tax receipt for the assessed value of your donations.
