Bought the memory foam mattress to replace the original cheaper mattress we purchased about a year earlier. Planning on getting the same mattress for my daughter and myself. A descent mattress for my purpose I bought this mattress (without the spring box) because I was looking for something inexpensive and with a thinner thickness, specifically for the upper level of a children's bunk bed. This one sits well below the top rail of the upper bunk, reducing the risk of accidental roll-off. So far, I have not found any brand with the same thickness or less.
