Cimetrics is an engine designed to increase trading performance on cryptocurrency markets using simple and complex metrics to measure price movements in real time.
Initially built for personal purposes, it was created to help a group of experienced traders to monitor the market pointing specific needs. As the demand for any monitoring activity appears, an additional utility is added to the engine.

WHERE?
The system collects data from Binance API's and delivers signals using Telegram Instant Messaging platform through robots (BOTs).
WHY?
Binance is one of the global leading cryptocurrency exchanges. In addition, their volume reports are reliable and they provide a good amount of data to work with.
Telegram is a multiplatform (PC/MAC/Linux/Android/IOS/WP/Web) instant messaging app and offers some interesting tools (like searching and enabling/disabling notifications easily).

ENDPOINTS
The algorithm gathers information from all Binance markets simultaneously, calculates and sends alerts (tickers) to specific channels. There are 7 endpoints, BOOM, TREND, USDT, LOW, SPIKE, BITSUNAMI, and VOLUMETER.
■ BOOM (PRO)
Volatility radar. When price increase fasts the system alerts in real time. It doesn't matter why it booms (fresh news, manipulated pumps...), the system detects.

The 100 means all metrics were attended. Probably a strong wave.
■ TREND (PRO)
Uptrend radar for markets where the base coin is the Bitcoin. The algorithm dynamically sets a specific resistance level. When price breaks this level with good pressure in order books, the system alerts in real time.
The arrow symbolizes the order book pressure.
The main difference between TREND and BOOM is the impulse nature. While BOOM tracks strong movements (in price and volume), TREND tends to track continuous uptrends. Sometimes the impulse is captured by both bots.

■ SPIKE (PRO)
"A spike is a comparatively large upward or downward movement of a price in a short period of time" - Investopedia
While BOOM continuously measures strong and short waves, spike just alerts specific points. If the price suddenly spikes, the system alerts in real time. Usually, SPIKE catches the wave before BOOM.
■ LOW (PRO)
"Some traders may say they are buying the dips if an asset is in a long-term strong uptrend. " - Investopedia
Dip radar. If "buy the dip" is part of your strategy, LOW can show good opportunities.
Each endpoint has its own metrics. Markets can be alerted in one of them or more simultaneously, depending on price/volume behavior. Imagine a river, BOOM measures its pressure, TREND tells the direction, SPIKE when a huge rock falls into the water and LOW the deepest level.
We use hashtags (#) before the coin name to enhance the user experience. It automatically converts the coin name into a link. When clicked, Telegram instantly searches inside the channel and show the results. Using it as a query in the generic Telegram searching field gives the result of all channels with that specific tag. As coins alert on different channels, the generic search shows all coin activity on different endpoints (channels).

■ BITSUNAMI
A must-have tool for any cryptocurrency trader. These days the Bitcoin market suffers from "strange" strong movements in a very short period of time. This part of the engine monitors BTC-USDT market and alerts when a "huge wave" comes. Specially designed to protect the funds ("panic sell") or to create scalping opportunities.
The "score" metric measures the wave size.

■ VOLUMETER
Understanding the money flow is essential as the volume is directly related to price movements. Volumeter Reports offer plain text data each 30 min showing the change percentage on each specific time frame.
A more practical approach is given by the graphical representation of these values by Volumeter GUI (Pro). For Alt traders (markets where Bitcoin is the base currency), knowing when the BTC markets are growing faster than USDT markets gives a perspective of when the "Alt Season" is coming. Usually, when BTC price is consolidating, Alts tends to grow.
Remember: understanding volume is the secret!
As the Alts have a strong correlation with Bitcoin (especially those traded exclusively on BTC, no Tether or Fiat markets), also BTC has their correlations. Follow the Dollar Index (DXY), Crypto Total Market Cap (TOTAL), Bitcoin Dominance (BTC.D) and Brave New Coin Liquid Index (BLX) charts.
