'Lego Ninjago Movie' Trailer Brings Kung Fu to the Brick World The Lego Ninjago Movie is exploring a new part of the Lego movie universe in the film's first trailer. The film's voice cast includes Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Zach Woods, Jackie Chan, Dave Franco, Kumail Nanjiani and Michael Pena. Charlie Bean directed the film, which centers on the battle of Ninjago City, which sees Lloyd (Franco) and his friends called to action. The secret warriors and Lego Master Builders are led by kung fu master Wu (Chan), as they battle the villain Garmadon (Theroux), who is also Lloyd's father. I don’t know about you, but I for one am quite pleased by the results of the LEGO toy company making their way to the silver screen in recent times. In my estimation, THE LEGO MOVIE was an absolute blast, and I have it on good authority that THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE is going to be rather entertaining as well. Truth be told, I already have my tickets reserved for that one. I’m going to get my Lego Batman on! Today, Warner Bros. Pictures (coutesy of USA Today) has unleashed a set new photos to promote its upcoming animated martial arts-inspired adventure THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE.
