Latest Entertainment News Headlines Lego Batman Movie drops TV spot with lots of new footage I don't know about you guys, but I haven't really been feeling LEGO BATMAN. And it's not because I need my Batman dark 'n gritty (I loved the recent BRAVE AND THE BOLD cartoon, and even appreciate the satirical humor of the Adam West series), it's just I haven't liked the trailers up 'til now. They seemed to be trying too hard (Batman's whining turning into a beat-box being one of the most egregious examples. But I have hope! I loved Will Arnett's take on Batman in THE LEGO MOVIE, and the people behind it are talented, so maybe they can actually pull this off. Let's see if this new TV spot can change my mind: It seems they're really focusing on the "Robin as Batman's son" angle, which is cool, since it might be a while before we ever see (an alive) Robin again in the DCEU. And the jokes are definitely better than previous trailers (the "it's weirder if it's not your son" line is legit, as is Batman's comment about Alfred watching Lifetime movies).

So there's hope, even if I'm still not quite convinced. But I'm also a curmudgeon with a dark, shriveled heart. So what do you Schmoes think? You guys down for this? Either way, LEGO BATMAN will swoosh into theaters February 10th, 2017 CLICK IMAGE TO OPEN GALLERY & SEE MORE PICS... Lego Batman made his first appearance in THE LEGO MOVIE. Behind the scenes of The Lego Movie Nice four-minute video about how the creators of The Lego Movie used CGI to make the movie look like it was 100% constructed with real Lego bricks with fingerprints and everything and animated in stop motion. I’ve watched it twice with my kids, and The Lego Movie was way better than it had any right to be. They so easily could have bollocksed the whole thing up. Maybe the secret is Chris Pratt? Guardians of the Galaxy was better than it should have been as well. I’m bearish on Jurassic World, but come on Indy! He is usually the star of the show wherever he goes. But Liam Neeson shared the limelight with his character from The Lego Movie at the Cinema Societyscreening in New York on Wednesday. The jolly Northern Irishman broke into a menacing grimace as he held a model of Bad Cop/Good Cop, the movie's tough guy villain with a split personality. He's so two faced: Jolly Liam Neeson grimaced as he posed with his Bad Cop/Good Cop character at a screening of The Lego Movie in New York on Wednesday

The former Guiness brewery worker seemed to be having a great time as he hammed it up on the pre-showing red carpet.Liam, 61, was looking great for his age in a black suit and open necked shirt, though he would been even smarter had he worn a tie.He also posed alongside Chris Pratt, who plays the films hero Emmet, an ordinary construction worker mini-figure who is mistaken for a master builder who can save the entire Lego universe. Old bill: The 61-year-old was looking great for his age in a suit and open-necked shirt combo Who's the biggest star? Chris Pratt gave a helpful hint as he posed with his co-star The Rob Roy favourite said he had no hesitation in signing up for the film as he has played with the building brick toy since he was a boy.He said: 'I was always a Lego fan, they've been around since the Jurassic period I think.'I'm 60 years of age and when I was a kid Lego was around, so I had them and my nieces and nephews and my sons had them.''It was very much part of my world, so I was thrilled to be part of this.'
