I liked the feel of them. The style was nice. However, with just 8 months of light use (only on weekends), a hole developed. Thus, I'm giving it 1 star overall because of poor quality. This is my second pair of Teva Evos. My first pair I have had for two years and wear to some extent nearly every day. I have a difficult foot and use my own arch support; with that, they are very comfortable. The only wear they show is on the soles. I made the current purchase to use for water activities and to extend the life of the first pair. To my surprise, the construction has changed and the new ones are even better than my first pair. My experience is that these are really nice looking and really comfortable and functional shoes. I'd also recommend: Sanuk from Lake Forest, IL Like the other reviewer, I'm a bit appalled by $70 shoes that don't even last a year. Should be discontinued or built to last.
