The State Room is conveniently located at 638 South State Street in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, right across the street from The Bayou. From 1-15 South, take the 600 South Exit and make a right on State Street and we are about mid-block between 600 South and 700 South. From I-15 North take the 400 South Exit and take a right on State Street. The Box Office opens at 5pm on show dates for will call and ticket sales. Our phone number is 801-596-3560. Credit cards and cash are accepted. What seating is available at the venue? The State Room features a mix of fixed seats, tables and chairs, and open floor space. For some shows, floor seating or cabaret seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis. All tickets are general admission. The State Room is handicap accessible. Where do I park? Diamond Parking controls the lot immediately south of our building, and it is $3 to park in that lot. There is plenty of street parking available, but please observe all parking regulations and meters. Is there food or beverage permitted at The State Room? No outside food or drink is permitted inside The State Room. We have a full bar and some snacks. Is The State Room an all-ages venue?
The State Room is a 21 and older venue. Proper photo identification will be required for entry. What is the photo policy? The State Room has a no-flash photography and video recording policy. In our venue it is very distracting to the performance. We also do not allow cameras with a removable lens unless there is prior approval. It is nearly impossible to set an exact polciy relating to photos since there are occassions where bands encourage it. Please check with the Box Office. To purchase tickets by phone, call 1-877-987-6487. Additional fees may apply. You may purchase tickets online with no additional service or order fees for all State Room shows. Your billing address for your account must match the billing address for your credit card. When you purchase tickets online, you will be able to print tickets right at home. Please present a photo ID at the box office if you have any trouble printing your tickets. You may also choose to have your tickets mailed to you for an additional fee.

We can customize our floor plan to meet your event needs. We are 21 and older venue. We have a capacity of up to 299 people. Our lobby that can comfortably handle close to hundred people in a standing, cocktail style party. The lobby is also a fantastic spot for a silent auction or to display art. The theatre has fixed seating for 175 and then an open floor that can be used for tables and chairs or used as a dance floor.
The State Room can be arranged to fit nearly all types of events. A total of 299 people can fit into the theatre, as well. The State Room's first-class sound and lighting systems are included. Tell us what you want and we'll set it up. While we can offer your some preferred catering options.. You are welcome to choose a caterer yourself. We have ample space for prep rooms and ease of load in.. We have two full service bars, as well as, a portable bar available as needed. We can offer group parking at a nominal rate. We offer backstage dressing rooms and plenty of space to prepare for performances or catered events.
