Located just off the town green in Woodstock, VT, our traditional New England church is a popular place for weddings and other indoor and outdoor events. or by calling 802-457-2557). Sanctuary: Our sanctuary is spectacularly suited for weddings, with huge clear glass windows allowing in amazing natural light. The historic pipe organ provides a stunning backdrop for ceremonies and can fill the space with impressive sound. The impeccably maintained Yamaha C3 grand piano is also available. Acoustics are such that microphones are not needed, but available if desired, with a state-of-the-art sound system that can also accommodate recorded music. The sanctuary is also available for memorial services and as a concert venue.
The sanctuary seats 200-225. Social Hall: The social hall, accessible by two stair cases and an elevator, has tables and chairs that can be set up in various arrangements. A fully functional kitchen with all appliances and prep areas is available for facilitating food service and clean up. A sound system is built in to the room. The room can be darkened for video presentations. The social hall seats 74. Smaller Quiet Areas: There are several smaller rooms available with optional seating for small ceremonies or meetings/presentations, seating 5-20. Back Lawn: The back lawn borders the Ottauquechee River. The space will fit a large tent, and a stone, wood-fired pizza oven is available at one side. There are benches and a small gazebo for photograph opportunities, with well manicured gardens in a few locations. Elevator: The North Chapel has an elevator for aid in moving between floors.
