Businesses and for-profit organizations may use the room if they are located within Community School Unit District 200. Access will be provided on equal terms, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of individuals or groups requesting use. The library does not advocate or endorse the viewpoints of any group or individual using its meeting rooms. No admission fees may be charged, no fund raising events may be held, and no sales of any kind can take place in the meeting rooms. As of November 2013, requests to use the meeting rooms must be submitted via the library’s online request form (https://il.evanced.info/woodstock/lib/roomrequest.asp).
Requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizations may use the room six times in a twelve-month period, and the rooms may be reserved up to three months in advance. Meeting room requests need to be submitted 72-hours prior to intended use. The online reservation form must be submitted by an individual who will be attending the meeting and who will be responsible for the use of the room and the audiovisual equipment. This person is responsible for guaranteeing that all organization members using the room are made familiar with the library’s Meeting Room Policy & Guidelines for Use.
