However, if you have specific preferences in terms of firmness, materials, construction, feel, etc. you'll probably be swayed a bit more towards one or the other.What all of these mattresses have in common:Made out of foamSleep cool and very breathableFirmness in the 5-7 range out of 10 (with 10 being the firmest)Inexpensive, $600-$899 for a QueenShip straight to your door (free shipping on all)Casper - the softest of these 4 mattress. It's a 5 out of 10 on the firmness scale. It has the most pronounced "hug" on your body. It uses latex and memory foam. You'll feel the most sinkage into the foam top layers with the Casper than any of the others.
Leesa - 6 out of 10 on the firmness scale. I would describe this as the most balanced mattress in this group. There's a slight hug around your body, but not an excessive amount of sinkage (about 1-1.5 inches in a typical lying down position). Uses Avena foam and memory foam. The Avena layer is very comfortable, it's designed to feel like latex, but be more durable. Tuft & Needle - 7 out of 10 on the firmness scale. The most inexpensive of these 4 mattresses at only $600 for a Queen. You really do sleep on top of the foams, as opposed to sinking down a bit. If you like a very buoyant mattress this is a good option. Personally, it's my least favorite among these 4. But if you like a little firmer / more buoyant mattress it might be a good option for you.Yogabed - 6 out of 10 on the firmness scale. Also, the newest mattress to join the family of online mattresses. Like Leesa, it's also a fairly balanced mattress. In terms of sinkage / hug it sits in between Leesa and Casper. It has the most uniquely designed cover.
It also uses a different type of custom top layer foam and a layer of gel for cooling. Who Is The Tuft And Needle For?The T&N is the most affordable option, and I think perhaps it is the single best option on the market at that lower price point.
