A 3-in-1 (part# 10650) Valve has two "clips" on either side of the Valve Cap that allows for easy removal. A 2-in-1 (part #10651) Valve does not have "clips" and instead consists simply of a screw-on cap, and a plug that fits on top, and in the center of the cap itself. The Exhaust Valve Cap (part# 10043) and Plug (part# 10044) consists of a rubber stopper plug that is inserted first, while the screw-on cap is placed on top of the plug. The Double-Valve is a vinyl valve stem that is attached to the mattress and is reminiscent of a beach ball valve. If my airbed has a leak, how can I find it and patch it? First, make sure that the airbed is leaking. Stretching is a natural characteristic of new vinyl and the first few times you use the mattress, some stretching will occur suggesting that the mattress is losing air. It is simply stretching under your body weight and this is normal for the first few uses. To check the mattress for leaks, first make sure the valves are secure, replace it if necessary.
You can also put liquid soap and water in a squirt bottle and spray on seams. If there is a leak it will bubble. (Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent will not work; they do not have the "bubbling" effect) After you find the leak, clean and dry the leaking area, remove the flocking with fine sand paper or an emery board, then apply the repair patch that comes with your airbed. Safari Splash is $5 (with Zoo admission) for children, adults and seniors or $4 with membership. Children ages 2 and under are free. Safari Splash is open seasonally and the hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the same as the Zoo’s hours of operation. Does Safari Splash offer rain checks? Safari Splash does not offer rain checks and reserves the right to close at any time for an unknown duration due to weather, maintenance or other operational conditions beyond the Zoo’s control.
Is there a lifeguard on duty? Safari Splash is a zero-depth water play area, and therefore does not have a lifeguard on duty. Children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times. The Zoo permits the use of small coolers and ice chests. Please leave glass containers, disposable straws/lids and alcohol at home. Thongs, speedos, etc. are not permitted. Children who are not yet toilet trained must wear a swim diaper. Is there a separate entrance to Safari Splash? Safari Splash guests will enter through the Zoo’s main entrance. All Safari Splash guests must be fully clothed (swimwear must be covered) when entering/exiting the park. Does Safari Splash have height restrictions? No, but there are age restrictions for particular features in the toddler play area. Please note these restrictions marked on the sides of the play structure. Does Safari Splash have any concession stands or gift shops?Splash Snacks offers a variety of light bites, including sandwiches, side salads and fruit, along with chips and drinks for guests to enjoy. Are outside water toys permitted? Soft-sided water squirt toys are permitted inside the splash area. Safari Splash-approved water toys are available for purchase inside Tropical Treasures.
