Bed nice and soft.
눇Location a couple of minutes from town centre, friendly staff, large comfortable bed, good breakfast. 눉When arrived wanted a john smiths ale was informed they had ran out. Was informed replacements were on the way눇The staff were friendly the room was spotless defiantly stay again 눉The strong smell of cigarette smoke in our room on arrival. A phone call down to reception ensured we were located to another room눇Staff very professional & friendly 눉Not much sleep on the 1st night due to rowdy guests the hotel staff were excellent next day the manager refunded our 1st night which was very good of her눇Breakfast was very good staff were very helpfull 눉Kept running out of breakfast food and people had to wait till they refilled stocks눇Very clean rooms evening staff in restaurant very good 눉The breakfast could be improved - they don't seem to be able to get everything ready at the same time - ordered eggs but by the time they were ready no bacon or beans - overall the breakfast is badly organised.
We stayed here last year and it was the same then so I know it must be an ongoing problem눇The bedrooms/bathrooms are great - bed is extremely comfy. I would definitely stay again but think twice about having the breakfast again. 눉Room had an odd stale smell, paper thin walls, didn't sleep well 눉Limited to 1 cuppa in the room as only one normal tea bag.눇The breakfast was excellentwould have liked a wardrobe. 눉Booked a double room, ended up with two single beds pushed together. Pillows and mattress very hard. Paper thin walls.눇Staff were friendly, good breakfast, nice dinner menu and right in the town centre which was great. 눉Wasnt much to not like눇Very friendly staff, breakfast was Delicious, rooms were clean and beds were comfy totally recommended hotel 눉The was a constant noise from outside my window (room 316) from what I believe were fans or generators. I like to have my window open at all times, so this was quite annoying. The TV signal in my room was very bad.
Most channels were unwatchable, and I gave up with it after a while and used my laptop instead.눇The staff were friendly, and the premises very clean 눉Room could be warmer - small heater.
