Sapphire/n Flashing Guide

Prerequisites

  • Bootloader Must Be Unlocked before proceeding.
  • A PC with Fastboot & ADB Installed.
  • A USB Cable to connect your device.
  • Battery level should be at least 50% to avoid interruptions.

Flashing Recovery (Recommended: OrangeFox Recovery)

  1. Download Recovery:
  2. Download the latest version of OrangeFox Recovery for your device.
  3. Extract the recovery.img file from the downloaded ZIP package.
  4. Boot into Fastboot Mode:
  5. Power off your device.
  6. Press and hold Power + Volume Down until Fastboot Mode appears.
  7. Connect Device to PC via USB.
  8. Flash Recovery:
  9. Open a command prompt or terminal on your PC.
  10. Navigate to the folder where recovery.img is located.
   fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
  1. Reboot into Recovery Mode:
  2. After flashing is complete, reboot your device into recovery mode by holding Power + Volume Up.
  3. Once in recovery, flash the Recovery ZIP File (if applicable) or reinstall the current recovery using the recovery options.
  4. Recovery Installation Complete!

Flashing ROM

  1. Download Required Files:
  2. Firmware: Download the latest firmware for your specific region (sapphire/sapphiren).
  3. ROM ZIP File: Get the latest ROM file you want to flash.
  4. Boot into Recovery Mode:
  5. If not already in recovery, press Power + Volume Up to enter OrangeFox Recovery.
  6. Flash ROM:
  7. In Recovery, go to Install and select the downloaded ROM ZIP File.
  8. Swipe to confirm flashing.
  9. Reflash Recovery:
  10. After flashing the ROM, go back to Install and flash the Recovery ZIP File again to prevent it from being overwritten.
  11. Reboot into Recovery:
  12. After flashing the recovery, reboot back into recovery mode.
  13. Format Data:
  14. In Recovery, go to Wipe > Format Data.
  15. Type yes to confirm.
  16. This step is crucial to avoid boot loops.
  17. Flash Firmware:
  18. Go back to Install and flash the downloaded Firmware ZIP File.
  19. Final Reboot:
  20. Once the firmware is flashed, select Reboot System.
  21. Your device should now boot into the new ROM!

Additional Notes:

  • If stuck in a boot loop, re-enter Recovery and Format Data again.
  • Ensure you download the correct firmware and ROM files for your device variant.
  • If fastboot commands are not recognized, check your ADB & Fastboot drivers.
  • Some ROMs may require additional steps, so always check the official ROM instructions.
